Runs extremely narrow! Didn't include a "wide" insert, but even if it did the leather would still pinch. Gorgeous shoe though. The leather quality is outstanding!

My granddaughter loves these. She walks 2 miles in these every Saturday to synagogue and never complains about her feet hurting. They've held up well over the months.

Great shoe for all kids . The shoe don't run a half size big. I got my daughter a 9.5 and it didn't fit so I got her a 10 she said it was tight until I took the sole out and replace the thinner sole that came with the shoe . I love these shoes . I had to Order my daughter another pair .

I buy this shoe for my Granddaughter. She is in Catholic school. The shoe lasts the entire school year. Great shoe. Quality is great. A little wide for her, she has a narrow foot, we add a foam insert and it’s perfect. This is her third year wearing this style of shoe and already looking for next year.

Excellent quality shoes! My four year old who can't go longer than a day usually before scuffing the toes of her shoes, is wearing these for over four months and the toes look new! To be fair it is winter so not much playground time but still enough to have scuffed those toes yet they look great!

These shoes were spectacular! My kindergartener wore them for an entire year and they still look perfect, except for a little scuffing on one of the toes. They are incredibly darling and held up all year. My daughter wanted a softer shoe this year so we chose a different shoe, but I'm sure it won't hold up nearly as well.

This brand is a consistently good shoe; excellent quality and arch support. I always buy 1 pair a red shoes for each of my daughters in the Fall so they can wear the seasonal color into the winter. And, I choose Footmates! The only reason I did not rate the "overall" 5 stars is because the leather hook portion holding the metal buckle broke but I have to be realistic and understand that sometimes these things could happen in the manufacturing/QA process. I received a new pair right away. I will continue purchasing Footmates for as long as my girls can wear them.

Definitely runs narrow

I ordered two different pairs of shoes for my daughter for school. She tried these on and immediately said they were too small. I think they were too narrow, rather than too small, which is surprising because she has a pretty narrow foot. She just kept saying they didn’t feel good and were rubbing her in a couple of places. Too bad because they are pretty cute shoes. Needless to say, we went with the other shoes as they were much more comfortable for her.

When my daughter tried it on, it fit, but after wearing it for a couple of hours, she complained that the shoes hurt her feet terribly. The arch is minimal, and somehow the way they're shaped caused the arch of her foot to hurt excessively. She's never had this problem before. Unfortunately, she will not be able to wear these shoes and I cannot return them because she wore them for a few hours. I'm very unhappy with this purchase and do not recommend.

I get these every year for my granddaughter. They are classic and go with so many outfits. She has wide feet and doesn't complain about fit.

These are our go to school shoes. They are extremely durable and do not scuff very easily. They are true to size. Would recommend!

Tried and true school shoes for my growing gal. We get a new pair every year, and they take a beating yet still look great when she's grown out of them. This time, they felt too tight, and I had to insert the wide insole, which took care of the problem. She doesn't have a wide foot, but perhaps that's just how this style fits as the sizes go up. I'll buy it again and again until my girls are too old for these sweet little Mary Janes.

These are beautiful shoes and very well made....however, they are narrow and the toe box is very small. They just didn't work for us.....DARN!!

The only reason I received these shoe was because it was not in a box. It was package in a plastic bag.

My daughter didn't complain about what I got her for the first time in history! She actually loves them and asked me to get her the ones in gray, which I might. I got them for her concert, but she didn't take them off since they arrived. Great quality, comfortable and stylish.

My daughter loves these shoes. They're comfortable for every day and she has a very narrow foot so the option to use the different insoles is wonderful, and my MIL loves the velcro, making it easier for her to put the shoes on.
