It's hard to find this model shoe and I've been wearing them for 60 years..and they're always fashionable, but usually terribly expensive. just thankful to have seen , by chance, the Rockport Ad... the shoes are great,first rate quality I'm reordering !!

Just what I needed for flexible wear. They go with anything. Since I travel frequently, I like to take one comfortable pair. I couldn't find these in local shoe stores, so I was glad to be able to buy them online.

The Modern Prep Penny Loafer are the most comfortable dress shoes I have ever had. The key for my feet is the shoe width and the craftsmanship at a reasonable price. Get them!

For me, Rockport loafers last at least 18 months. In 1966 the USAF measured my boots size 8 5E, Rockport size 8.5 4E is totally acceptable. Last pair was on sale, got them in case no longer available. Note: as of Jun 24, 2023, XW not available. These shoes are totally comfortable out of the box, still comfortable over two years later. A half year more later, need to be replaced.
I do not "like" Rockport loafers. I LOVE them.

History: I worked for 45 years, in jeans, t-shirts, boots. I am now retired, in slacks, hawaiian shirts, penny loafers.
I bought my loafers from Zappos in Dec.2015, Jan.2017, Nov.2018, Aug.2020, and again in Aug.2022. You can accept that I really like these shoes and Zappos. Three pairs, a pair each two years, all felt/feel the same
In 1966, the U.S.A.F. gave me some boots that fit perfect -- size 8, 5E. For decades I wore boots size 9D, close enough. The Florsheim were 8.5 3E, Rockport loafers are 8.5 4E, a better fit, only slightly tight. I wear them daily, the Rockport hold size for nearly -- I still use a shoehorn to put them on.
I'd also recommend:

This is my second pair of this shoe. The last pair is six years old. It took a lot of wear and still looked great. Now it is my everyday shoe and needed a dress pair. I've been wearing Rockports for over 40 years. They are great shoes and a great value.
