These boots are really cute, and if you're looking for something with a moderate heel, they're very comfortable. Personally I don't like heels for everyday wear, especially chasing two little kids around. I thought these felt just a little clompy to walk in because they don't have the rocker toe of the Dansko clog. If I could justify two pairs of booties, I would have kept these - I went with the Dansko May as a cute but more practical option (lower wedge, more flexible sole).

I have large short legs and these Look Great with boyfriend jeans and skinny jeans, and with my dress pants for work. Super comfortable right out of the box and they give me a little height too! Glad I took a chance on these. They are well worth the money!

Best booties ever!! For work or play. Comfortable beyond words. And very stylish too. I'm a nurse practitioner & on my feet all day. I also have "bad feet" that usually bother me all day long... but these boots are like magic slippers for my feet. I've always loved my dansko clogs but these boots are even better! Worth every penny!

I had surgery on both feet 2 years ago and I've had to give up on most close toed heels because of discomfort, but these are fantastic! Comfortable right out of the box and fine walking long distances. I get compliments every time I wear them! They're sexy and are great for smartening up jeans to ride that casual/dressy line. Good for work, going out, even running errands. They're my new favorite shoes!

I have titanium implants in both of my feet, so I have to wear comfortable shoes...I am extremely happy that I came across this bootie. They are cute, stylish, comfortable and look great with leggings. I purchased the black pair and I'm happy I did. I have narrow feet and wear a size 8, I purchased a size 38 (7.5-8) and they fit great. Dansko shoes are great for people who have problems with their feet/ankles/legs. As always, Zappos is awesome with their fast shipping and next day delivery.

I wore these shoes for one day and the "leather" started peeling. Underneath it, it looks like they are made out of cardboard. They looked adorable and were comfortable so this was so disappointing and weird.

I suffer with Plantar Fascitis and these boots feel AMAZING!! They are absolutely gorgeous and I get constant compliments when I wear them. But the best part is how they feel on my feet. They look good and feel GREAT!

More comfortable than Dansko Professional clogs! If you want style and comfort, the Dansko Shirley is for you. No break in time required. Roomy toe box allows for higher heel without the chunky look. Does not slip up and down on the heel like clog. I usually wear a 9.5 wide in Clarks or a 10 in other brands. Considered buying this in the black too however the taupe goes with most. Worth the investment.

I teared up the first time I put these on. They are current without feeling trendy, super comfy, lifted but don't feel high. I wear an 8.5 but I enjoy wearing thick (Costco) wool socks. I ordered a 39 and they fit perfectly. I feared they would look too red but they are the perfect warm brown.

Wore these in London, wet rainy, my feet were not wet at all. I wore them for 4 days straight walking every where, miles and miles per day, and my feet were not achy. Highly recommend.

Love them, I'm short w/wide feet. This style gives me a little height, super comfortable, excellent arch support, no aches after long hours of standing. Love the style too!

How often do you wear your brand new shoes for five days straight in extreme comfort? These beautiful booties have become my new favorites. They go great with skinny jeans or dress pants. I have a closet full of Danskos because they are usually comfortable despite the arch problems and surgeries I've had. I usually wear 39 and these 39s fit perfectly. In American sizes I wear 8.5W.

These shoes are very cute. It's hard to see online, but the front part is suede and the back part has a shiny leather that almost looks metallic. I really like the dual finishes and the metallic finish on the back is very stylish. Mine are the "taupe" color. They look sort of brown online and there is a large contrast in color between the two leathers. IRL they are sort of a chameleon, the colors look different in differing light. There is definitely not as much contrast between the front and back on mine compared to the pics online. I wore them to a party and got several compliments. When I asked friends about the color, some folks swore they were gray and some said olive, none said brown. We were inside at night, so the lighting can definitely make a difference. I think they have a bronze tone on the back half, brown with a greenish tone and a slight shimmer. Whatever the color, they are a nice neutral and would go with lots of things. The fit is tighter than a normal Dansko clog. I suppose that is needed with the higher heel so your foot doesn't slide forward and put pressure on your toes. When I first put them on they felt a little tight across the top of my foot. I wear a 7.5 and a 38 in Danskos. I have normal width feet. After I wore them for a while they didn't seem tight. I think I was just expecting a looser fit like the clogs. I am very happy with these shoes and feel like I got a great deal at 60% off. I'm a happy camper.

Even cuter in person, I think they will be great blue jeans boots! It is hard to find boots that look good on big feet!

These are my favorite shoes!!! I wear them almost every day. They're perfect for work and dressing up a casual outfit just slightly. Dansko's run a bit large naturally, but that's part of their magic formula for comfort. I wear these shoes everywhere and can walk for hours in them. Can't say enough good things about this shoe!

Dansko and Birkenstocks are my go to footwear for my stubborn achy post surgical feet. I purchased Shirley in the Taupe Suede from a local source and experienced the finish scraping off the heel as another reviewer. I returned the first pair and they generously replaced them with a new pair. Sadly, this pair is also scraping with just a few wearings. I came to Zappos to look for reviews to see if this was just me to decide if I should return my second pair as well. As comfortable and stylish as they are, back they will go. Attached photo taken today is after just a few wearings.

My feet love Danskos

These have been my go to booties for 2 years! I love them and hope that Dansko brings them back in fall with updated colors... mine are looking due for replacement given how often I wear them!!

Adorable and comfy

I love my Dansko’s. This is my second pair of Shirley’s. I have had a brown pair for a couple of years and now I have the black. They are so comfortable and can be worn ALL DAY! They are cute too! Ankle high with a zip! They are worth every penny.

These boots are awesome! Was hesitant based on another review and I need them comfortable and easy to move in. Waited and finally gave them a try and they are awesome. Dansko wins once again, and now that these are on a bit of a sale, I’ll be buying another color.?

I normally wear a 9 so I ordered the 39 which claims to be for sizes 8.5-9. Well that was really tight. I ordered the 40 and they are much better. I would not say it is the normal loose clog fit by any means. I was hoping for a loose fit but the 40 is fine and most likely will stretch a bit with wear. I wore them for an entire day with no issues. They do sound like clogs when you walk so no sneaking up on anyone in these :) I got compliments on them and look forward to wearing them all winter worry-free since they are scotch guarded.

LOVE THESE BOOTS! If I could afford it, I would buy them in all colors. I got the gray and they are beautiful, comfortable, stylish, and PERFECT! Dansko rarely dissappoints.
