I was given this jacket as a birthday present, only to find that the biggest size was far too small. This was very disappointing as I had really been looking forward to it. Though i'm Sure that it is a terrific coat, I would advise buyers to be wary that it seems to run very small, and may not fit correctly on an a taller, larger or older girl.

Bought this for my daughter for Christmas and ordered using the size chart. It was her favorite present until she put it on and it did not fit. Not only did it not fit, now it isn't in stock. Very disappointing.

Purchased this jacket for my 12 year old daughter. According to the size generator she required a Large and it estimated that it should fit her for an extended period. Once we received it, she could barely zip the coat closed, despite her petite frame. We will try an X-Large because she really likes the coat and cross our fingers that it fits.

Runs really really small. Tried the L and the the XL on my 11 year-old who is a skinny-minny but on the taller side and both were way too small. Major bummer because it's super cute!

My Daughter, age 10 normally a size 14, is slim and the sizing chart identified that we should purchase the L jacket, which barely fit. She was wearing only a short sleeved t-shirt when she tried the jacket on and it just fit, just able to be zipped. Unfortunately, TNF did not have the XL available, though they did when we ordered the original jacket, bummer. We had to go to another online retailer where we did find the jacket in the color and size she wanted. The jacket is beautiful and a great quality so I would recommend this to a friend, but would say to absolutely ORDER A SIZE UP despite what the Size Chart may indicate.

The jacket is very pretty and it is very well made. My daughter loves it but is rather snug in the chest and stomVh area compared to the sleeves. I wish it had just a 1/2 inch larger seem in the chest and stomach to accommodate winter clothing.

My daughter loves it, but the size says 10/12 and it just fits her, but won't for long and she hasn't even turned 10 yet. I was hoping to make it last for more than one winter. Her size has always matched up with her age, so I know that I am not under estimating the size she is.

We purchased a size medium for my 12 year old which was obviously the wrong size but the large size 14-16 isn't really that big and she is long for her age.

Cute Jacket, however I had wanted a different color lining, I was assured in an e-mail from Northface that is was the color I needed, very disappointed when I received it and it wasn't the color I wanted. I needed it for a gift so had to settle for it.

I bought this jacket on sale if you can believe it. It was for a 90lb/5ft girl who wears a kids 12. I bought the 14/16 Large and it was too small. Very disappointing!!! And now I can't exchange it because they don't sell that color, and the only colors they have are full price! What a waste!

Cute jacket but returned bc of the color. Looked more black in the picture but in person more of a brown tone.

Very cute and very soft, but unfortunately it runs extremely small. My daughter wears a 12/14, ordered a Large (14/16). Returned it for an XL (18) and it just fit her. Had to return cause for that price wanted it to fit her for a few years.

It’s off by a size. Ordered a medium and measured the same as a size small thermoball jacket. Didn’t reordered as the material seemed very thin. Quality of northface have gone downhill in recent years.

Got two jackets for my daughter in two different colors as they are cute and affordable but both are useless now as the zipper in each one of them broke within 3-6 weeks of wearing. Not worth buying it!

My 8 year old Daughter had a hole in the sleeve after only wearing a few times. This same daughter wore the same cheap Meijer coat for 2 years with no issues. I'd expect a lot more from this brand. The material is thin and does not hold up to even normal wear. Very disappointed as I thought I was investing in a coat that would last at least 2 years. :(

I bought this for my 10 yr old & put in her measurements according to the size chart & it said Medium with 6-7 months of growth. That I'd her usual size so I was confident it would fit. Jacket was way too small ! Disappointing!
