Big fan of these shoes. I wear them for 10 months a year here in Austin and they are my go-to slipon. Note that they have to be worn barefoot, even the tiniest sock liners will show and look silly. However, the coolest thing about these shoes is that they don't smell! Even after wearing them a hundred times without socks. Probably because the sole is a rope/ hemp like material that I haven't seen in any other shoe brand. It just doesn't absorb odors. I ordered a second pair after wearing my first for about two years (heavy use). Great slip on for hot climates. Looks very beachy.

I generally buy a size 10. Usually D width. My foot measures 9-9.5 EE on a Brannock device. I also have a high instep. No two shoes ever fit alike. Most shoes are not lasted as they were once upon a time. One must try ‘em on. (Insert Zappos kudos here). This espadrille in a size 10 fit just right. Just as expected. Understand this is not a shoe. Nor will it fit or feel like a shoe. The cloth upper will conform to the shape of the foot with minimal wear. The jute insole may feel odd, but soft, and they’re snug to the foot at first. I’ve had cheap espadrilles. I’ve had good ones. Good is better. These seem quite good. If you do not need arch support, if you enjoy going barefoot, if you like the sensation of walking on the hard sand where the tide laps the shore, then you’ll be an espadrille fan too.

These shoes are run very small. I wear an 8 and had to go up to a 9. I love them and buy them in every color, but size up to be on the safe side.

My foot is a women's 9.5 wide, and the men's 8.5 fit me just fine. The sole is pretty flexible (which is nice - some rope soles are too tightly bound to bend much). I wish they came in patterns, or at least more colorful fabrics! A really solid staple summer shoe.

I have a wide foot, and although these are not quite as wide as I would like, they are "much" more comfortable and stylish than the Toms I tried before (which fit like a vice). Fingers crossed about how well they will wear with the exposed stitching, but that's part of the charm. They are light, carefree shoes.

Ran a little small, and we are hoping the half size larger we exchanged it for will stretch a bit. It has the full rubber sole, so more secure walking than a “buy from the street vendor” espadrilles. The grey color is a great neutral. Bought for my son, who says it is just what he wanted and expected.

Super comfortable - ordered a 10 originally but exchanged for a 10.5 - does run smaller. Love the design and style, great for the Texas summer climate. Have re-ordered in a different color. Love them - they are great!

I was nervous ordering these shoes 1 full size larger than my normal shoe size but they fit perfect.

i ordered my size and had to send them back . I would've bought a size and half larger but the don't make a 12.5. So I bought the 12 and the seem to fit fine, especially as they stretch a bit. definitely buy a larger size unless you've had a pair of these before.

These Soludos are the perfect summer shoe for Miami. I have tried others, and because my feet are wide, most canvas shoes like this are too narrow. The Soludos fit great, look terrific, and I will definitely buy another pair. Awesome!

Extremely happy with quality and fit. A tiny tiny bit small to size but the canvas adapts to my foot. Much more comfortable than I had anticipated.

These are excellent casual summer shoes. Great for those who want something light and comfy, but don't like to wear flip flops. They don't offer a lot of support, but they are simple and durable. Once you wear them for a while, they'll start to stretch/mold to your foot. Thinking of picking up another pair soon.

These are a great alternative to flip flops, and they look way better too.

SO comfortable. They will fit a little tight at first, so you should expect that right out of the gate. Give them a few wears and it is like they are part of your foot. They adapt so well to your individual foot. I have them in two colors and they are very soft. They also have all natural materials, so if your sweaty like me you can rest assure that your shoes won't stick after wearing them without socks. The lining somehow magically repels odor!! Give them a try, you wont be dissapointed!

I’m reviewing the second pair that I purchased because I had to exchange them. I originally ordered a mens’ 7 as I can take that size in a man’s shoe. I wear a women’s 9 but they don’t offer the natural color for women. The 7 felt like it was nearly a full size too small, and I can pretty much always wear a 7. I exchanged for an 8 and they fit much better. They’re perfect in length, maybe a little wide but since these shoes have no stretch it’s necessary for them to be a little big so you can got your foot in them, as the vamp comes up high on the foot. They’re very comfortable though and they’re a great casual summer shoe, so I’m happy with my purchase.

The other reviewers were pleased with this shoe and I'm very happy for them, but these shoes didn't fit my feet at all and I couldn't wait to take them off. I found that even with a full size larger than what I ordinarily wear (10.5 men's) my toes were squished together and pressure on the nails of my big toes was intolerable. Since they're made of cotton canvas it's possible with time they'd stretch out to be more accommodating, but I'm unwilling to put up with the discomfort.

I usually wear size 12 in any other shoes, but on Soludos I always go size 13 and they fit perfect. This espadrilles run small.
