I LOVE these sandals! I have a high arch, narrow heel, medium forefoot, and I am extremely finicky about comfort. I usually wear a 10.5 (or larger when I need to put an orthotic in my shoe). I'm recovering from Achilles tendon issues so I'm pretty careful what I wear (always wear shoes or sandals with good support, anyway.) I wore these all day the first day they arrived, and the "cloud" layer feel extraordinarily wonderful. I practically live in Birkenstocks (with the extra cushion layer) year round and after yesterday, I felt like I could replace the Birkenstocks with these Chacos except in winter when I need to wear socks in our northern climate. I love the adjustable straps, the way the footbed fits my arch, the firm but flexible sole that conforms to my foot when walking. I have an old pair of Chacos--same strap style but without the cloud layer. They are at least 10 years old and I used these for I wore kayaking and sometimes hiking and loved those, but not more than my Birkenstocks. Those were the only sandals I have ever been able to feel secure and supported when hiking. I am back on the Zappos website to see what other colors the zCloud come in. I ordered the black/white pair which will go with a lot of my clothes, and actually look a bit "dressy" -- for my style anyway ;-) I rarely take the time to write reviews, but I love these sandals so much. I hope Chacos keeps the style and comfort for a long time, and only offers different strap colors and patterns over the years.

I don't know that I can actually find the words. I have a lot of heel pain and sciatica. I've never been particularly interested in chacos before, but I needed support and comfort as I walk 4-6 miles a day on concrete floors in an elementary school. This shoe has helped more than anything else I have tried. I can't speak for the other models, but the z cloud was comfortable from day 1. It took a bit to get the straps just right, but one YouTube video and I was set. I advised a coworker with heel pain to get a pair. She wore them for the first time today. When I asked if she liked them she said...worth every penny! I AGREE!!

I have had 7 pair of Chaco sandals over 12 years. All but this pair, Z/Cloud, had been the Chaco classic model. The Cloud were comfortable, and I enjoyed the more cushy sole, but they do not wear nearly as well as the classic, which I have typically worn for 6 or 7 years each. The sole of this pair, less than 3 years old (I have several other sandals so wore them only a few times a week for 6 months a year) completely ripped in 1/2 one day when I caught the toe on the curb as I was stepping down. It tore right along the strap that is embedded in the sole. Although the webbing was in fine condition, these were trashed and had to be thrown away. I do not recommend the Chaco Cloud! Not durable, and too expensive to be tossed after moderate wear. Also, I notice that the sole wore much more poorly than the sole of my Chaco Classics that I bought at the exact same time as the Cloud. They photos below show the torn Cloud, and the much less worn sole of the Classic. Do not buy Cloud unless you can afford to replace them much more often than the more durable Classic.

It took me three years to break down and order a pair of Chacos for myself. The "cloud" footbed won me over - I have flat feet, collapsed arches, and after wearing these all day, my feet (and my entire body) felt great. No foot pain or knee pain like I usually have when wearing sandals!! Woo hoo! Oh...and I thought I could save money by ordering Tevas. Chacos cloud footbed single strap, without the toe ring, were the CLEAR winner for comfort and durability. Worth every penny.

I was looking for a sandal that can be worn in a warm wet climate, that can be worn as a walking sandal. I require a lot of support and have a hard foot to fit. These sandals are fully adjustable but a little complicated to adjust at first. There was a card included showing how to do it. It took a few tries, but I got it right and am very happy. I normally wear between a 9.5 and a 10 but because of other reviews I ordered them in a size 9. They fit perfectly.

Zappos has been very patient while I ordered and returned and ordered and returned, trying to find the perfect vegan sandal. These Chacos are a dream. Be sure to follow the instructions in the box lid for how to tighten and loosen the straps; weird at first, but then easy and you can really customize the fit.. The sandals look great on the foot (pretty, yet functional), and they're incredibly comfortable with really nice arch support. I am a size 10 in most running shoes, a 9 in sandals. The 9 Chacos were too long for my feet, but the 8's are perfect. It was worth persisting. And now those lovely Zappos employees can finally have a little nap. I've got my perfect sandals, and an animal didn't have to die!

The big plus: The completely open toe area. I have issues with my wide feet and toes that get hurt by other types of sandals that rub across the toes, especially my little toe, and these sandals eliminate that problem. For me, the the things I liked less were: only full sizes (I went with the smaller size on advice of the reviews and while the sandal fits, my toes are very close to the front and I've stubbed them a few times. Next time I would choose the larger size. The second characteristic is what I would call a very high arch on the sandal. Maybe I have flat feet (?) but I have never had a shoe push up so aggressively on my arch. I had to check "excellent arch support" in this review, but it is way too much arch support for my comfort. I hope it squishes down soon. Overall, I'm wearing these and not sending them back, but it is kind of mixed. If you prefer toe freedom, these are a good choice.

Comfortable. Disagree with other review that said the shoe makes your foot look wider. It looks true to size and width. Agree with other reviews that indicate strap is too long.

SO comfy and awesome for anyone with high arches!!!! They provide so much support even for my job where I am standing for 8 hrs at a time. I would reccomend that if you are between sizes, to size down. So worth the $ and everyone needs a pair!!!!

I love Chacos. This was my first pair with an ankle strap. The fit was tight and when walking I could feel the middle of the inside of my foot hanging off the shoe. I have never had this problem with shoes, but because I love Chacos I’m ordering a wide in hopes of a resolution.

I'm so happy that I ordered the Chaco Z/Cloud sandals! They fit perfectly and offer the support I need. I am recovering from plantar fasciitis and a heel stress fracture in the same foot and these sandals felt great on my feet immediately. I'm able to wear them all day comfortably and my walking has greatly improved.

Almost like the originals! The Z/Cloud feels so much more like the original Chacos (pre-Merell)…great arch support and cushion. The Z1 was too stiff for me, but these are just right. I have a wide forefoot and narrow heel, and the medium fits just fine. I’m typically a 7.5 in a dress shoe, but wear size 8 in these.

Adore these and will never take off. Very supportive and so cute. Plan to wear for hiking, water activities, and also with simple summer dresses. They do run large. I’m normally a 6.5 and took a 6 in these. Zappos, I love your service and products. Thank you!

Love these sandals. I have them in a multicolor and was looking for solid black. Alas , I waited too long to order and they sold out of my size. I wear an 8 or 8-1/2 and the 9 is way too large. The 8 is perfect! I’m wait listed for a pair of 8, which is another reason I love Zappos.

I have a lot of foot problems and these are so great! Give great support but easy to just slip on and go. I love that I can get them wet and they are still comfortable. I wore for a day at the lake and they work great!

These were comfortable right out of the box. The straps are soft and caused no blisters after hours of initial wear. I have arthritis in both feet but was able to wear these just as long as ASICS without debilitating pain.

I wear 7.5 -- and Chaco's sandals don't come in half sizes. So my feet were spilling over just a tiny bit in the 7 :( The 7W worked for me, but unfortunately there is almost no style selection in that size on Zappos. I hate toe loops. Previous to this I had a pair of Chacos in size 8 for 15 years. The footbed always a smidge too big. They also had vibram soles, which contributed to the longevity. These have chaco brand soles which don't last as long. So, over to the chaco website for a custom order!

I have fallien in love with Chacos and was delighted to find the Favite Wine color available. The shoes are comfortable, with great arch support. I am 72 and wesr Chacos pretty much all the time. I can't wear any sandals with a strap between my toes so this model is the perfect shoe for me. I can't say enough good things. And my granddaughters are impressed with my 'Chaco tan'.

For a person like myself who has multiple foot problems and a number of foot surgeries, I have to say these sandals are special. I particularly like the arch support that totally relieves the ball of foot pain that I have. I also love the fact that there is no toe friction due to the way the straps are designed. Very comfortable to walk in. Love these!

I like chacos! However, I was hoping to find a pair without the toe ring that gets difficult to adjust the older they get. It just doesn't work for people with large, skinny feet to have the open front and no toe ring. That toe part seems to be the only way to walk for long periods and up and over rocks and keep your feet from sliding out forward. So, love chacos, but back to my regular style! Zappos is so great - to be able to order several styles and sizes before a trip or event and get it fast, returning the rest, is great!

The arch support felt like a mountain, couldn’t deal with it.

So thankful that Zappos Stock “wide” width shoes…Purchased these for a neighbor who has a hard time finding wide shoes …. They were perfect and didn’t look bulky….

Great sandal. Fit was good and comfortable. This is my 3rd pair and I'm still using the other two.
