I looooooove my old Chacos, so when I bought these I expected to be just as pleased. But the straps in the front are way too big. I could have fit another foot on top of my foot inside of the front strap.

I recently ordered two custom pairs of Chacos with expedited shipping. I’m leaving the country for two months on Tuesday and the Chacos website said they would be here by the 18th. Now, with backed up custom production, I won’t get them until the 30th, after I leave. This dishonest arrival date and deceptive production time cost me over $200 for no reason since I wanted them for my girlfriend and I for the trip, and will cost me even more to get them shipped to where I’m going if I want to use them. I won’t be ordering any Chacos again. Watch out prospective customers

I was looking for a rugged sandal with above average support that would be appropriate for rough terrain and a lot of walking. I also wanted something that looked at least a little stylish. These seemed to fit the bill and overall had good reviews. Many mentioned the fully adjustable straps. Before I ventured outside in these, I wore them at home on carpet. I had some doubts about how the adjustable straps seemed to become gradually tighter and tighter as I walked, and would necessitate frequent re-adjustment. I had faith that somehow the straps would "settle" and remain more fixed once the shoes were broken in. Unfortunately, upon wearing them outside, I found that the problem persisted. I fiddled with fastening them more snugly to not allow as much "give," and I also tried allowing some slack. Neither worked. The toe rings would tighten like tiny nooses around my big toes. Then on one very active day with several miles of walking (not unusual for me), I began to notice a pain on the outside of one of my heels. I wondered if it was the beginning of a plantar fasciitis flare up, except I'd only ever had that occasional problem on my opposite foot. When I got home and removed the sandals (to my very great relief because of the toe nooses), I found I had a blister the size of Texas on the outside of my heel, caused by the way the molding of the sole rises up to hug the sides of your heel. I don't have wide heels. In fact, I can't wear most slip-on shoes because they "flop." It's now several days later, and I'm still dealing with the pain and healing of the enormous blister. I guess these shoes work well for some people, but for me they were a total failure, and a costly one at that. I will appeal to Zappos to see if they'll take mercy on me and allow a store credit on these awful shoes.

So disappointed that these did not fit! The length was fine and the width of the sole was fine also. BUT, the top of the shoe was VERY TIGHT, almost like it was for a smaller size shoe.
I'd also recommend:

I bought this pair of Z/2 Classic Chacos a few months ago. These sandals featured the new ChacoGrip soles, which were advertised as the "best performing Classic outsole to date." After only two months of wearing the new sandals, the sole on the right sandal (around the ball of the foot) had completely worn down to the strap underneath, and split across the width of the sandal. Now, after only four months of wear, the entire strap is exposed beneath the sole, and the crack is likely to spread to the footbed if the sole is not replaced. The sole on the left sandal recently split in the exact same spot (the ball of the foot). This is my third pair of Z/2 Classic sandals, and each of the previous pairs, equipped with Vibram soles, lasted for more than 2 years. The new ChacoGrip soles are of seriously poor quality, and I cannot justify spending $105 on a pair of sandals that deteriorate after only a few months of wear. Chacos used to be great, but not anymore.
