The shape of these looked very awkward and I couldn’t quite put my finger on why

Really to tight for comfort and the ankle portion cut into me with walking

Ouch! I've worn these twice now. The first time was at a function that required lots of standing, but little walking, and for that they were okay. The second time we had to walk a few blocks from car to restaurant and the peep toe opening rubbed massive blisters on both of my big toes! I literally could not walk back to the car I was in so much pain! Two weeks later and I still have to wear bandages on my toes! And I have average width feet, nothing unusual. After reading all of the other reviews I was so shocked! It's such a cute shoe and seems well made, but I don't think I can ever wear them again! I can't return them after wearing twice, so they will be an expensive thrift store donation.

Despite waiting longer than the usual surprise one-day shipping, I was so excited when I finally received these and put them on. In my many years of buying shoes online, I rarely succeed on the first try. They are so comfortable, easy to walk in, and stylish. I had pants on at the time but when walked into work the next day wearing a skirt I quickly realized that in the short distance from the car to the door, the top of the suede was already rubbing uncomfortably against the outside of my ankle. By the end of the day, I had severe rug burn-esque cuts that made it impossible to walk. It's been over a week and they still haven't healed and now I don't know what to do with these booties :(

I coveted these shoes after seeing them on my hairdresser and splurged on 2 colors as a Fall staple. I wore the black one time and the caused a large gash on my right ankle (requiring a Dr visit as it was quite bad). While they clearly work for a lot of people and are absolutely adorable & stylish, be aware that the are stiff around the ankle and could do some damage. Fortunately Zappos has amazing customer support and helped me out. Sadly, these were returned. These are the first Toms I've ever had a problem with :(

I bought these 1week before Easter. I've maybe worn them 4 times. Yesterday I looked down and found a gaping hole in the right boot. I'm a Sr. Ctr. Director so I don't kick rocks for a living. This has to be a defect or dry rot. Mortified would best describe walking into a management meeting with a gaping hole in my shoe. As per usual Zappos is on the ball with customer service. I definitely do not want a replacement pair. Nope.

These ripped after only 5-6 wearings. Not good quality! Cute, but poor quality for the price. The suede ripped right across the top of the bootie, and I am not hard on my shoes.

Just an average design and quality for the money.
