Salomon has made this shoe to have "less volume." I know this because I just called their Customer Support Team. I also held the new shoe up to the old one, and it's noticeably smaller. For the last several years, I have bought this shoe because it's roomy and can accommodate my foot. With this new "less volume" change, I can no longer wear this shoe. No, sizing up doesn't help. Sadly, I will no longer be buying this shoe.

Compre este producto el mes pasado y han resultado ser la mayor basura que he comprado nunca, nunca me haban dado tan mal resultado unas Salomn!, Mi hijo con ampollas en los pies por la dureza del material y despegadas las suelas del resto de la zapatilla!

I have had 2 pairs that I put many trail miles on so I was anxious to get a new pair. Not sure what happened but my feet have never been so sore after running in a pair of shoes. Extremely disappointed

This is my fourth pair of Salomon X-Mission 3 and I won't buy a fifth pair. They have shortened the lace so drastically that I need a shoe horn to put on the shoe. I don't know who made this change in the design, or why they changed the design, but I know I can't trust ordering them online and I can't find them locally. Time to find a new walking shoe!
