I wanted my 5 yr old daughter to have a good looking backpack that she can use for school and also be able to use it when we go hiking/camping. She truly loves it and doesn't leave home without it.

Love this backpack! Fits my five year old son perfectly. It's stylish and fits his lunch bag, water bottle and school folder with room to spare. Lots of pockets and compartments, which we haven't used yet, but may in the future. Reflectors will come in handy when daylight savings starts. Highly recommend.

It's for my daughter for school. It is perfect for her. The design is great and not generic and she's little so the size is just right as well!! She loves it!!

I bought this for my daughter's first backpack when she recently started kindergarten. She loves it! The color is bright and vibrant and there is plenty of room for all of her things.

This is an excellent backpack for my son who will be in Kindergarten this year. It's a perfect, comfortable fit for him to wear to school and while traveling through airports. I definitely recommend and plan on purchasing another for my daughter when she starts school!

I bought several of these for my children as they begin school. These bags are small enough that they aren't too large for them to conveniently carry, yet big enough that the kids will be able to continue to wear them as they grow. The largest compartment opens deep enough to fit my children's school things as well as a decently sized lunch bag. I did a lot of research on the best bags for elementary school kids, and I am very pleased with the Youth Recon bag.

Got this for my daughter it's her first north face book bag and I have to say I love it and fits her notebooks comfortably.

I love this so much when i did cheer we went to a compotson and the makers didnt get your infinty backpacks in time so we had to use what ever we had perfrble black and i was really glad i bought that just in time.

My 6 year old daughter absolutely loves this book bag. We purchased another book bag online last year & it is not even comparable to the North Face. My husband and I loved it so much we bought one for all of our children!

This was great for my twins going into kindergarten. I didn't want a bag that was going to take over there body's but I needed something to fit lunch box folder pencil case etc. this was perfect

Great quality backpack!

This was definitely a great purchase. The product has exceeded my expectations.

This backpack is quite small. My 13 year old wanted a pack smaller than her huge school pack for traveling. It seems to be a really great pack, with all the features she wanted, but it's not for anyone the size of even a fairly petite adult. Six to ten years old is probably great for this. The price is really good for high quality pack; we ended up with something much more pricey.

We bought two of these, one for our 1st grader and one for our 5th grader (she's tiny!). The backpack itself is great, we love the look and feel of it, but it is pretty small. The fifth grader can't even fit her binder in it. I think this will be perfect through 2nd grade, maybe even 3rd, but when they really have to start carrying things for school, it's just too small! We had to return the 5th graders bag, but we're keeping the other one!

Thinking out of the box for a mens diaper bag. Not bulky or atrocious. Performs perfectly as such. Plenty of pockets and storage for a small pack. Should last long enough for the little one to take to school too.

This was a gift for my daughter in the third grade. She has had a butterfly backpack since she started kindergarten and has been begging for a new backpack. Her dad and I both use north face bags and figured this would be a fun bag to add to the collection. She loves it so much and would definitely buy again.

Overall it seems to be a great backpack for my kindergartener. I wasn't sure about the size but it is a great size to fit my 5 1/2 year old but maybe a bit small to really handle her papers and snow clothes, etc. for school. Also, the pink is a bit much - I'm sure it will be filthy in no time but my little one loves pink so it was the best option for us. I hope it holds up over time but to early to tell but seems well made and sturdy so far.

Great. Bag

I originally bought this back pack for my first grader. When it first arrived I was shocked how small it was. I am aware I was looking in the kids section, but we tried to make it work because he loved it and well so did I. I didn't consider even returning it. Now five months later I can't stand my poor judgment on the size. His standard size folders barely fit and because he recently had surgery on his left kidney he is required to always have his refillable Klean Kanteen water bottle (which I love). Of coarse it weighs the small backpack down on which ever side pocket we choose to add it to. I clearly can't return because its been used for five months and the tags have been removed, but it's not a complete loss. I have a three year old that would love to have his big brothers things. My daughter needed a new back pack she uses it just had to carry her large binder in hands

This backpack is adorable BUT my daughter is in second grade and it is super small. We had to return it and buy an adult size. This would be great for kids to haul toys and such around or maybe even for preschool. Not good for grade school tho!
