The other reviews are correct in that these sandals run a bit wide, however, for some people, like me, that is perfect. I personally do not like shoes to be tight on my feet but I do appreciate arch support. These sandals are amazingly comfortable. They weigh next to nothing and have the most support of a sandal I have ever owned. I wore them for 7 hours straight straight out of the box for an annual fundraiser where I was literally having to run up and down sloped terrain multiple times and it was like having on comfortable running shoes. My feet are usually very sensitive to new shoes and I took a risk in not having time to wear these beforehand to test them out, but knowing that Cobb Hill is a division of New Balance, I took the chance. I am very happy with these sandals! I have been looking for white sandals for a few years that were cute and these were perfect. These have a little detailing but not over-the-top bling. If you want comfortable, lightweight sandals with great arch support, these are the ticket.

This is my third (yes, third) pair of Cobb Hill Hannah sandals. I love them that much! I wore the white and tan ones all summer long last year and adored them, so when I saw the pewter hit the market, I grabbed them before my popular size (9.5 N) sold out. I had actually requested this awesome sandal to be made in silver, so I was quite happy to see Cobb Hill listened! While the pewter isn't as silvery as I would like (it's more a bronz-ey shade), it is still pretty and I will probably keep them, especially since my other request wasn't granted, that the Hannah would be available in black in narrow sizes (considering how quickly the narrow sizes sell out, I don't know why it's not an option). And while I'm being picky, I would prefer all black, as opposed to the black and gray, although I'd settle for the black and gray. The sizing IS different this year. For those who complained about the straps being too loose, that will not be a problem. A couple straps are even a little tight on my new pair, although a bit of wear will take care of that in no time. Another change is that the strap second down from the buckle strap now has a bit of elastic on both ends, which is good, as that strap is much (much) tighter than it was before. Be aware that wider feet may need to go up a width this year. The awesome arch support from last year is still there, thank goodness! I'm quite comfy in the newer, tighter version and am totally ready to take them vacationing somewhere tropic. But since I didn't win the lottery, I'll have to admire my new sandals as I warm my tootsies in front of our fireplace!

Lovely but weird proportions. I ordered a 10W (maybe the Wide was the problem, but can't imagine how). Note: I have wide feet with normal-to-narrow heels and borderline-high arches. I was very pleased with the width in the place where width matters (the widest part of the foot, around the balls of the feet, but the rest of the shoe was ridiculous! The bands covering the arched part of the foot (from middle of 2nd gem and upward) were ridiculously oversized, making it hover nearly an inch (measured) above the top of my foot, and no amount of tightening the ankle strap made any difference. Did anyone else experience this? Is it just the wide, because the width of the ball area should not have this large an impact on the height of the arch. Really bummed because the shoe is gorgeous. I'm exchanging for a normal width to see if this makes a difference, but I do have wide feet, so hopefully I don't have to sacrifice comfort to get a shoe that actually fits a human foot. Oh also, it was strangely long (normally no complaints because I'm usually 10.5W, but this was 10W long even for me).

Bought this shoe (9-medium width) two years ago and have worn them a lot and they are getting a little worn. A few of the beads have gone missing, on one there's a small tear on the edge near the toes, and the soles have gotten very worn and now stick to my feet (my feet sweat a lot). So I've stopped wearing them. Then today I discovered they are still available! So I just ordered a new pair and will be glad to go back to wearing this style. Here in Houston, sandal weather lasts a really long time so I'll be wearing them into October for sure. Thanks, Cobb Hill, for a great sandal!

I am so happy with these sandals! They fit perfectly. They are comfortable I can walk long distances in them, making them great for vacations. My feet are hard to fit, I usually buy 8 W, if I buy WW they are way too wide, but W is not usually wide enough, yet these are perfect for me. I don't normally like gems on shoes, but when I look down, I like the little bit of glitter since it makes my feet look nicer. The arch support feels good. I'm back to purchase another pair in a different color.

These shoes are soooo comfy! They are really cute too. Very happy with them. I probably would have bought the narrow if it had been available, but I have very narrow feet - so probably fine for most others.

I need to update a review of this shoe that i wrote about two years ago. At the time I said that the top straps were so loose (and not adjustable) that I couldn't even walk in the sandals without falling over. Based on more recent reviews I ordered them again, and found that Rockport has indeed adjusted the top straps and they now fit perfectly. Very comfortable sandals!

I got these in wide and the actual "width" from inside to outside of shoe was great, but they were also wide from top to bottom of foot...so would fit someone with a very thick/fat foot better than just wide side-to-side. Had to return them. I always wear at least a wide, sometimes even a double-wide shoe, if that helps.

The ankle strap was loose, even when tightened all the way. The straps near my ankles were too big and it didn't look good. I also didn't like the look of the grey and black straps, I would have preferred just black or just grey. The foot bed seemed comfortable, but I don't know if it would feel good on my difficult feet all day, since they didn't work I quickly out them back in the box. (Incase it helps someone else reading this with difficult feet: Vionic is my go to brand. I have high arches and plantar fasciitis. I also have narrow heals but the rest of my foot is regular width so I tend to stick with sandals. (I also have degenerated fat pads, so if I'm walking more than a mile I have to switch to Vionic sneakers or a sandal brand with a much thicker cushion).

These shoes are gorgeous! However, they felt too big around the ankle. If I kept the size I ordered, 9.5W, I would have probably fell and broke my ankle. I am going to try 9.5 without the wide, and 9W and see which is better. Hopefully one will be!

I sadly have to agree with the other reviewers. This is a super cute sandal. The foot bed is comfortable and the arch support is excellent. Unfortunately, whoever designed this shoe had never seen a foot. The (unadjustable) straps that go across the top of my foot are so long that you can see air between my foot and the straps -- my foot floats in them. I can get at least one, and maybe two fingers between the strap and my foot. I can't walk in these at all; I'd fall over.

I liked the shoe a lot although it looked a little more gold than pewter to me. The problem was that the straps hit my foot wrong and made my bunion look even worse. So back they go.

Absolutely love these sandals. This is my second pair (I already have them in green). I repurchased them because of the arch support. I generally wear a closed shoe with an orthotic, but am able to wear these comfortably for an extended period. Must mention, that although they are described as "black", the straps are alternating gray and black. This was unexpected, and not shown, but I ended up liking them anyway.

I have high arches, wide feet, and one cankle after several ankle surgeries. While my left ankle is normal, my right is 2-3+ inches larger depending on swelling and it's next to impossible to find super cute strappy sandals that fit both ankles. Well, these do without having a cobbler adjust the strap. The buckle already has an attached elastic to provide extra give (same thing that many cobblers will do to extend your strap), and the straps themselves sit lower on the ankle so you could just buckle first and slide the straps up over your heel. As I'm on my feet most of the day, I always choose comfort over style, but with these I didn't have to sacrifice style. Very pleased with these sandals!

This is my 3rd pair of these sandals! I have them in 3 colors. They run true to size and they really help you get through a busy day without foot pain. They are stylish enough to go with many types of outfits.

The most comfortable pair of sandals I have ever worn - period! I wore these all over France, up and down cobbled hills and dirt paths and not one problem. I happen to love that they have a little bling but not too much. I do have wide feet and appreciate that they are a little more wide than normal. I originally bought the tan and then got a pair in pewter to wear to dance in at my daughters wedding and they were awesome.

These are great for wide feet. Comfortable right out of the box. Love the neutral metallic color -- not too shiny.

A pretty, well-made sandal, and in the 9.5W size, long and wide enough for my foot--but, even though I have a high arch and instep, the strapping in the midfoot was too loose on me and can't be adjusted. With regrets, I am returning it, and will keep on looking.

Unfortunately I had to return these, they did not fit like a narrow shoe. I had another pair from a few years ago that were a perfect narrow fit.

This will be a good dressy but comfortable choice for summer, but it did run wide. I ordered a 9N and found the forefoot too wide, so then ordered the 8.5N and it is acceptable, but not perfect. There are few choices in Narrow shoes and you learn to live with the best available. My foot isn’t extremely narrow- narrow enough that a B width never fits, but some Narrows are too tight around the toes. I think that someone who takes a true Narrow would not be happy with the fit.

I have wide, bony feet and have no luck finding cute sandals in regular width, which is what most stores sell. I purchased an 8 Wide. These shoes were comfortable across the widest part of my foot and I didn't feel like my foot was hanging off the sandal. However, because I don't have wide heels or ankles, the straps around my heal and ankle are very loose...this is why I didn't give these shoes 5 stars. Even on the tightest hole on the buckle, the straps are not snug around my ankle. The shoe seemed to stay on my foot, even with the loose straps, so I decided to keep them. There is a nice arch support, although it took me walking around the house to get used to the way the arch felt. Also, be aware that the heel is pretty narrow, so these may be tricky to walk-in if you're on uneven ground or if you are prone to rolling your ankles.

I have a narrow foot, so I was ecstatic to discover these cute sandals came in a narrow. However, as you can see from the photo, these sandals are in no way “narrow.” There is a one-inch gap between the strap nearest my ankle and my foot. The other straps also were too roomy. I still may have kept these (I’m used to wearing shoes that don’t fit), but they were so loose that my foot kept twisting and my heel kept falling off the shoe bed. Sadly, these are going back.
