Go at least a half size up ! They run small ... very cute bright purple my daughter loves them !! The only down side would be the laces ... they are long and thin . Double tie them so theyvstay ties and aren’t hanging to low.

With vans, you should always order a sfull size bigger, atleast for kids shoes. These high tops are great for kids learning to tie shoes beause they can practice tying, but they also have a zipper up the back. The glitter is so cute, but It doestn seem to peel, and the unicorns are also pretty realistic looking. A word of warning though, if you plan to purchase high tops for your kid, be sure to have crew socks on hand, as these will rub the heel/anke area and the top of the foot without them. Otherwise, super cute, and a great little alternative version to the JoJo siwa fad little girls crave these days.

Very, very cute shoes. My 6 y/o loves them. *note, they are pretty difficult to take off & put on with out untying AND unzipping. The purpose of the zipper is defeated. If we tie them very, very loose then we can just unzip, but then we have to tighten the ties.... a little work should be done in the design. I thought I'd point that out for the parents of non-tying kids out there.

I wear a women's 8 and ordered these in a 6.5, they fit comfortably snug. The picture online doesn't do justice for these, they're so much prettier in person.

My daughter is over the moon about these shoes! I do feel that they run at least a half size small and they are a bit stiff perhaps due to the glitter so it’s unclear if they will give at all.

Bought these for my 5 year old. She loves them! Easy for her to put on and off thanks to the zipper. She needed to put on long socks bc they were rubbing her ankles, but I think (hope) that’s just part of breaking them in- she hasn’t worn hi tops before.

Great shoes! My son has multiple pairs and as he is growing, we just stick to buying him Vans. I like the dark colors because boys love to get dirty .

My 3 y/o absolutely loves this Sk8-Hi shoe, it's her "go-to" shoe. I'd recommend going up a full-size up when purchasing. They run a little small.

I want to thank Vans for making a shoe that is very inclusive. I'm not sure if they added the zip in larger sizes for people with developmental and other physical disabilities, but our family loves these shoes for that reason and they are also stylish. Our son is visually impaired and struggles with getting shoes on. These are so easy to put on, but they don't look any different than the other awesome Vans' styles. They also offer great support for any active person. We love this company!

Shimmer and Shine! But beware sizing is off. My daughter (Almost 6y/o) loves her new shoes. Love the tie and zipper options. Love the shimmer and shine! Only downfall with Vans is the size chart is way off (too small). We followed Vans sizing instructions and the shoes we ordered accordingly, were too small. My daughter has two different sized feet at the moment. We measured both. The left foot was 6 3/4" OR 17.15cm. We selected 17.5cm on Vans, which suggested SZ 12. The right foot was 6 1/2" OR 16.51cm. We selected 16.5cm on Vans, which suggested SZ 10.5-11. We've ran into this problem in the past with Vans measurements. Thankfully we ordered 2 different sizes just in case (SZ 12 & 12.5). But we shouldn't have to do that if we follow the size chart. The SZ 12 was too small. The 12.5 fit her great. Vans, please update your size chart and change the "cm" to "in". It would make purchasing a whole lot easier.
