I am a fan of Danskos for many years, but I have had to return nearly all the Dansko professionals I ordered this year because of size discrepancy. Mostly, the Right shoe feels almost a whole size smaller than the left. If I move up to the next size, they are far too large. I ordered the perfed pro style and had to order 4 pairs before I found one that fit. It is not unusual to have some sizing variation in Danskos, but this year has been out of the ordinary. I'm not sure what is going on, but I hope they fix it!

A pair of Dansko Professionals used to last me a few good years at work in a hospital setting. The last 2 pairs fell apart after just a few short months of wear. The first being the newer XP 2.0. This pair began to bubble under the leather on the left shoe and eventually tore. The material is peeling off, the metal staples are rusting. They look like complete crap after only 5 months of light wear. Never had these outdoors either. Can't believe how poor the quality is on these now for $135.

What has happened to Dansko? They were always reliable, even though I knew it would take a few pairs to find the right ones. I’ve always been a solid 38 in Dansko, but the current ones are floppy and oversized. I've order 8 pairs already to try and find at least one pair that fits, and have had to return them all. Did Dansko change their fit? Obviously. I'm afraid this company has sold out to the lowest bidder for manufacturing. I called Zappos and was told no one else has complained about this, but if you read the reviews, you'd see that this is not true; there are a lot of unhappy previous Dansko wearers. So warning to all lovers of Dansko, you're likely to be sorely disappointed.

I did soooo much research to try and order the right size of these shoes b/c I have a narrow foot. I wear an 8.5M, but am a true 9N. I ordered the size for 8.5/9 in Narrow. They are perfect. Don't try to walk on stairs in them. I saw comments about how loose they were - they're supposed to be. Just as they said, I can fit a pinky between my heel and the shoe. There are even instructions in the box on how to walk in them. I just love how I'm no longer on the floor when I'm standing in the kitchen for long periods of time and walking through the house. It's not supposed to be tight, and yet it's very comfortable.

Size down because they run big. I am normally 7.5-8 but had to return these in that size. Ordered 6.0-7.5 and fit well

This is my second pair; my first was purchased around 2003. I always thought those clogs would outlive me, but after 17 years the soles couldn’t take any more and I had to give them up. Happily, when I received the new ones and tried them on, it was like meeting an old friend! Comfy right off the bat. Hope these wear as well.

these are like wearing socks. for me. i spend all day on my feet and these are the bomb... not hiking shoes, but around the office, around the block shoes, all day every day

So excited to see a natural wood looking heel. I've received so many compliments about these clogs and people can't believe they are Danskos! Love the fit and style.

My only issue with these shoes is the sizing (width). I love these shoes, but the WIDE width does not feel much different than the REGULAR width, which is a little frustrating. I had to return them due to sizing, and will "size up" rather than getting the WIDE width. Other than the size issue, these shoes are wonderful. I have been wearing dansko for years - they are the best.

Anyone who has bought new Danskos knows, they require a breaking in period. I suggest a shoe stretcher if they feel snug. Helps make the breaking in go more smoothly! Great supportive well made shoes once they are broken in!

I believe that Dansko has changed their sizing in the past few years on their std pro version. I have wore size 39 regular width for many years. This time I swam in the 39s and sent them back, I ordered a 38 regular that pinched my toes and sent them back. The latest 38W feels a bit large, but is my best fit. I will keep them. They remain the best nursing shoe for me. I am grateful for the easy returns.

The wide size still hurts the corn on my little toe. :( Guess I need a much softer shoe?

This was my first time buying a pair of Danskos. I am a pharmacist and on my feet all day long. I have narrow feet. I tried the regular width first which felt too wide, so I ordered the narrow width. The narrow width was extremely tight around my feet. I returned the narrow width and tried the regular again with thicker socks and they worked fine. It took about a week to break them in, but now they are extremely comfortable and my go to work shoe.

My heels came out the back of the shoe (I only wear clogs that have backs). Unfortunately the next smallest size is too small. I wish Danskos had more precise sizing that didn't leave some of us out of luck, because I loved an older pair I had and they are so versatile and comfortable. Sad!

The left shoe was perfect and super comfy! However the right shoe is improperly labeled or something because it was visibly smaller than the left shoe and felt very tight.. super uncomfortable. Would’ve been a great purchase if this had not happened.

Ordered my normal size, these babies are HUGE, don't know if they are mis-marked seconds or what, but I will be returning. For the record I have 4 pairs of this style and all fit perfectly.

I've been wearing Danskos for over 10 years, and this is the first pair that just didn't fit. I ordered my usual size, but my foot was falling out of it. I've also noticed the quality has gradually gotten worse with each pair these last few years.

My feet were killing me after 10 hours! Shoe sole too stiff. No bend when walking

What has happened to Danskos? Both 38 and 39 were too big. Arch support less than wonderful. Hope my old ones hold up a while longer.

I’ve had many Dansko Professionals. I like the original because I prefer a firmer shoe. These are nothing like any of them that I’ve had before. I bought several pair so I could choose the best fit. Obviously the fit seemed fine so I wore them to work. The first thing I noticed was the insole is plastic, not leather. So my foot slides forward with every step causing my foot to set in the wrong place on the arch. Because I’m not walking right in them, I sound like horse clomping down the halls. And then to top it all off, the one right one has started to squeak. Not the sole but somewhere inside. Ugh... Zappos service is excellent but I’m having feelings about Dansko just now.

I don't know what size I wear in Danskos anymore. I'm a true Women's size 6 and have 3 pairs of Danskos I purchased many years ago in a Narrow 37 that fit perfectly. The new Narrow 37's are *huge*, my feet are swimming in them. I've also tried a Narrow 36 and they are the opposite, too tight. I love my old Dansko's but they're falling apart and no longer acceptable in the workplace so I'm at a loss as to replacing them with a pair that fits.

I have worn these clogs before. Now the narrow is much wider than it used to be. My feet swam in them. So disappointed!

This shoe may have been the right size, but fit my feet terribly. Gapped at heel. I am so diappointed as I love my other Danskos. T=But these professionals do not fit my feet.
