Very nice looking pair of shoes. At wearing first I got a blister on my big toes, but as they wore in they fit and felt much better. But only after a month and half of wearing them. I noticed tread is loosing its grip, its also deteriorating. I work on a sales floor as a manager and I am all over the place. Regular concrete floor to the freezers and coolers. I noticed my shoe slipping the other day and thought maybe it was the floor surface. But it was the shoe. I just polished them since I've had these and notice major flaws on the tread, no wonder why I was slipping. I bought these because of the description stating Durable non-slip rubber outsole. yes it was at first but after less than 2 months my shoes slid and slip all the time. These shoes are only good for someone that works in an office and doesn't do much walking.

Bought a pair of these shoes. The inside soles wore out unreasonably quickly. Zappos replaced them. Entire outside coating wore off. Giving up on these.

I bought these for my husband Jim as this has been his go to shoe for over five years, buying them from different sources. He was excited to see they came in an EW size, something he really needs. Here is what he has to say: "The fit and style of these shoes is great. It lives up to the previous 10 or so pairs I bought. The problem is this is the first pair I bought where the soles squeak, loudly, when I walk across a vinyl floor. This has not happened with the previous Rockports of the same model on the same floor. Something changed in the rubber. I became the laughing stock in the office with the way my shoes announced my arrival every day. I contacted Rockport Customer Service online and was pretty much blown off. Rebecca told me my claim was not valid. All i wanted to do is advise them of a quality issue. When i advised that I was not happy with the response Rebecca doubled down and told me there would be no further response from Rockport. This kind of response from a company has turned me off from Rockport forever. My shadow will never cross the Rockport door again even though i've been loyal to this shoe for five years." We will still buy shoes from Zappos, you guys are great, just not Rockports.

Simply put, these shoes are junk. The soles are nearly completely worn after just a few months of wear, and the laces snapped within a couple of weeks of purchase. The heel is also way too wide on these shoes.
