The Teva Tirra Slides have been so comfortable! Even after wearing them all day, my feet don't hurt. The adjustable straps accommodate my wide feet perfectly. My one complaint is that they are very slippery on wet surfaces, which has surprised me because they are Tevas and they are advertised as providing "excellent grip" on wet surfaces. I have slipped and fallen twice in just the last few weeks while wearing these shoes. I am 41 and in reasonably good shape, so slips and/or falls aren't something I do on a regular basis. I can only remember slipping and falling one other time in my adult life, but it was on ice, so not terribly unexpected. I would not recommend these sandals to be worn in wet conditions. From now on, I'll stick to my Keens when it rains.

Sandal fit very well, even on my wide feet, and are very comfortable. However, I don't like the 'flip flop slap' at every step. They are going back.

I am a shoe diva and I have tried them all. I have an adventurous side, for which I use heavy-duty Teva sandals, but I spend most of my life on city streets... so I was very happy when Teva started making cute urban footwear. The balance between urban-pretty and walking-comfortable is the Holy Grail. At some point, almost every piece of cute footwear begins to annoy. They slip a little, or wobble a little, or they chafe, or they clunk or clack. So a lot of footwear is mainly for show - and just a few blocks of walking. So when I find the ONE that does it all, I get really excited! I have the Teva Tirra in Dark Purple. It goes with so many colors and styles in my everyday summer wardrobe: cropped olive pants, blue jeans, brown skirts, pastel cargo skirts, and more. Last night I walked two miles to a restaurant and then home again, and my feet were in heaven the whole time. No slip, no wobble, no chafe, no clunk... just pure walking pleasure! And - I looked cute at the restaurant. So I just ordered another pair. I love the style, I love the color, and I these every summer for years! P.S: I am a true size 8.5 and the 8.5 fits perfectly.

This shoe is amazing. First off, I've never tried on a slide that actually stays on with no effort. No toe scrunching to hold on or anything. They are nice and cushy, with a decent amount of support for my flat-ish feet. I can't handle higher arches like you find in some brands like Chaco's, but these are perfect. The insole seems like it'll hold up nicely and not cave in like some shoes do. The only issue I had was the stitching was slightly itchy the first few wears, but it wasn't bad and went away pretty fast. Oh, and they aren't the most breathable shoes either, but it's not really annoying to me, even in the muggy summer. For sizing, I'm between an 8-8.5 usually and got the 8.5 which have a tiny bit of extra room in length, but I still think they look like the fit right. Overall, I love them!

I have been searching for a comfortable shoe without a thong that is half way cute and supportive. This shoe is excellent. I will be able to wear them to work with a number of different items. The best part is that I have a bunion that will be removed in the next few weeks. The velcro strap allows me to make adjustments to make sure I will be able to wear this shoe now and after surgery. They have a bit of arch support also. Very happy. Get your true size. I am an 8-8.5 and got the 8.5 initially but they were too long/big. Exchanged for an 8 - perfect. If you are regular width to slightly wide, you will be happy. I wear a regular foot that needs accommodations for my bunions. If you are a true W, I would not recommend.

I like that you can pull the Velcro strap to tighten or loosen them. They're are very comfortable. I bought them to use when I go to the pool or the beach, but I notice I've been using for casual wear too.

These are awesome! They are perfect. They have a hearty tread and adjustable straps across the instep and toes with a soft neoprene-like fabric under the fabric so you do not get chafing or hard edges digging into the top of your foot. I am thrilled with these as they are a lightweight, low profile version of a Teva while being super functional and quite cute at the same time. They are the perfect travel shoes and every day wearer. The only thing I could ask them to improve on is to make the footbed a bit thicker with a bit more arch support but they are not flat by any means.

Love these, had a purple pair for several years, they were my go to shoes, probably why my dog ate them! Looks they are being discontinued because I was only able to get them in black. I can not handle anything between my toes and these are the only slide sandals I have found that stay put and have great traction

My first pair was wearing out after much use in and out of water. I wonder if Teva is not making this style any more as it was hard to find. So glad Zappos had it. Teva, please don't stop making these. Important that they can tolerate water without being ruined, do NOT have thong which irritates toes, and provides excellent protection and support.

I have another style of Teva sandal that works well with my bad bunions, but this one left so much of the footbed showing at the front that I'll be returning it. Note to others with bunions: I can confirm that the placement of the straps does not irritate the bunion itself, and I feel confident that the neoprene beneath the straps would be very comfortable around the bunion area, keeping straps from rubbing the foot.

This shoe was just what I was looking for. I am trying to only wear outside shoes outside and, because of my plantar fasciitis, I need my in-house shoes to give good cushioning and support. The arch support is good and hits in the right spot and the adjustable velcro strap kept the fit comfortable across the top of my foot. I can wear them comfortably all day long. And they are cute.

Very comfortable, supportive sandal. I have lower back problems and walking in a non-supportive shoe/sandal makes the pain worse. This sandal provides as much support as one could get from a sandal. Note: I ended up with one size smaller than my usual.

So comfortable I ordered 2 pairs and will probably order more. Felt good the first time I wore them and I could walk all day in them.

Very comfortable slides and have good arch support. I liked my first pair so much, I ordered another pair to wear inside the house.

After trying a number of slides, I found these to be the most comfortable. Don't know how they hold up doing lots of walking but they will be perfect for going to the pool with the little one this summer. They stay on the foot nicely when walking thanks to being able to adjust them. Great shoe!

Very comfortable with a shock absorbing, contoured foot bed! I wore them continuously for a whole week when new in hot and humid weather and got no rub areas or blisters on my very sensitive feet. I order a half size lower in Teva shoes to get a great fit.

Sorry - too loose. I have the same size in the brown and they're just enough more snug to fit okay. The red is a great color, though. Maybe I'll try another pair.

Teva's were recommended by a podiatrist as comfortable shoes for my problem feet. The shoes are very comfortable and provide excellent arch support. I have problem heels and find these are extra cushy in the heel area.

Love these sandals for the shower and around the house. They are made to get wet, and therefore easy to clean. The adjustable straps secure them to my feet. Very comfortable and cushioned. The straps are soft, and do not rub my skin. On standing, the weight distribution seems to be directed toward the heels just a bit. It feels a little odd to me, but the heels are well cushioned and it's not bad - just different. Because I have a flat feet, and tend to pronate when I walk, I probably wouldn't wear them if I'm going to be standing or walking for extended periods of time. I love the color choices! Must get another pair or two.

Had hoped these straps would help distract from my bunions but the placement was wrong. Otherwise comfortable and cute for a casual sandal.

I bought these as an alternative to my Crocs for my 10 minute walk to walk every day, hoping they’d be just as comfortable but not as slippery in the rain. Unfortunately, Crocs will always win, I guess. I wore these around the house for a while to see how they’d feel (so if they weren’t comfy I could return them) and they were lovely. But on that walk every day, ugh. They hurt my shins, rub my pinky toes and are definitely NOT made for comfortable walks. I was hoping after wearing them for a couple of weeks they’d break in or I’d get used to them, but sadly, no. I’d definitely return them if I could. They’re also quite slippery if they get wet, so I don’t even have that advantage. They’re really cute and they ARE comfy for normal days, but not for real lengths of time. I really am so disappointed. Still on the quest for a comfy summer walking sandal.

It would work if your foot is average to wide. Otherwise it slips and would not be safe.
