I really like them. The color is a pink/metal mix that’s pretty versatile. They’re a little stiff but they’re new. My feet are wider and these fit pretty great. They press slightly on my outside toes but not so much I don’t think they’ll stretch. I like them better than my tieks.

These fit great. I had purchased Frye flats before and had to return them (different style completely) and was a bit apprehensive about these. But they are comfortable and look very nice with a pair of jeans. They are going to need some break-in time as they rub a bit against the back of my foot but that is a common issue for me. If you're looking for something a little more dressy to wear with jeans for work or play, I recommend these!

Super comfy and soft slip on.

These shoes are so cute, and like all of my fryes - the leather is so soft and comfy! These shoes look great and are comfy to wear all day.

My first impression was that they were a bit too snug, but the soft leather quickly molded to my feet for a perfect fit, although they don’t really offer any cushioning or support. I would rate these as true to size after they’re broken in. I do like that they’re sleeker and more elegant looking than most casual shoes.

I own another pair, the dark blue and love them. They are my style! Sleek, minimalistic but stylish and are comfortable to boot. I wear them often and they have not shown excessive wear, etc. Love 'em!!

Leather is so soft and color is beautiful. I have wanted these shoes for a while and was so disappointed that they gap in the arch area. The length felt right, and shoes are well made - must be my feet!

I was looking for an espadrille or similar casual shoe that was not too chunky or heavy looking, for a trip where the weather was warm but not quite summery. The Frye Melanie was a good option. It's lightweight, soft and flexible, and the leather is very nice and smooth. Doesn't have a lot of arch support but better than simple ballet flats and more flexible than many rigid espadrille styles. A good alternative to sneakers when you want a sporty but slightly more lightweight look. Right out of the box it was comfortable to wear. I usually wear a 7.5 or 8, medium width and have a slightly broad forefoot. The 8M was perfect.

I like these. The color is exactly as on the screen (taupe). They felt true to size; I often run between 7-7.5 so, based on reviews, I ordered 7.5. It feels like there is plenty of room but my foot is not falling out so I will stick with this size. No real arch or foot support yet that feels acceptable in this shoe, likely since I see it not as a heavy walking shoe, just a “throw it on and go” shoe. I have a long vamp and, my guess from the other reviews, my foot is a good shape for this shoe. Those with a short vamp may have trouble getting the pointy toe configuration to work. I think it’s why my foot stays in despite the shoe feeling roomy. I may return for the cognac color but other than that, these are keepers for their purpose. They do resemble slip-on sneakers but also have the look of a flat, so a little tiny bit more refined than a slip-on sneaker.

The shoes are soft as slippers. I needed to put in an insert to make them fit a bit more snugly. I ordered my regular size.

I LOVE these shoes. They are so comfortable and cute and as others have said, don't need any breaking in. Very soft and hit the foot the right way so there isn't any leather digging into the skin. I got the 8.5 which is my normal size. They were just the tiniest bit loose- I solved this by inserting a terry-cloth shoe liner that provides maybe 1/8 inch of padding. Now they're just perfect and I don't have to wear little socks if I don't want to. I may order another pair.

These cute shoes fit comfortably right out of the box although the heel on this 7.5 M is a bit wide for my foot. That was solved easily by putting in heel pads to tighten the shoe. I have bunions and the toe area is ample and comfortable with no rubbing at all. I am thrilled. The sea blue color is what I consider teal and it’s gorgeous. It looks like a soft glove leather but to the touch it is a flat suede although there is a very slight sheen particularly on the toe area. It is definitely a flat shoe with only slight padding so don’t expect thick cushioning but I have had no problems wearing them for all day errands. A great casual shoe!

This a really cute casual shoe. My foot is on the wide side and they fit comfortably. The issue I'm having is the toe box is pressing down on top of my big toes so they show through the soft leather. UGH! :((( A bigger size won't help because I all ready have a thumbs worth of extra length (If you remember your mother measuring your shoes when you were little). Sadly, they must go back. My hunt for a cute casual shoe continues . . .

These are nice. A little more upscale than a sneaker and versatile. Haven’t worn them outside yet because it’s like 1 degree and they aren’t made for that, but they seem super comfy.

I love these shoes and think it is worth it to persevere until you get that perfect out of the box fit! Once you do, you won’t want to take them off.
