Never thought I would buy a shoe like this for my son. I think of this as a preppy, impractical shoe. I am glad I tried these out, because I was very wrong. My wide-footed son got this shoe for a wedding. They fit him comfortably and looked adorable. I can't get over how long my son keeps these "church shoes" on without complaint. Actually, he's never asked to take them off! I like how comfortable and stylish these are. They almost seem to have a tennis shoe bottom and I think this is why my son enjoys them so much. The laces stay tied- which is a bonus for me.

The shoes are great. I bought a size 4.5 for my son. It is a tad too big but should grow into it soon. Very comfortable and quality design & feel.

I usually wear a Men's 7 1/2 or 8 but after reading reviews ordered a 7. It fit perfectly. I used to wear these in high school, but love this updated version with the comfortable insoles.

Great shoe. Ordering the wide though made the shoe bigger so I would order a half size down or do not build in an extra size.

I am a 60 year old women, but I wear a size 4.5 in women's and a 2.5 in children's. Since their is not a very wide variety of women's shoes in my size, I look at children shoes. I like these shoes because they look more grown up feel much better made than anywhere else.

These are both of my sons school shoes this year. They fit really well and seem to be a bit sturdier than some of the other Sperry shoes due to the thicker sole.

My 9-year old son loves these shoes. Makes him feel so grown up. Matches his Dad's Sperry's. Very comfy from day 1 -- no break-in necessary. Comfortable with or without socks. Laces that loop around the shoes are functional such that these can be tightened if needed (especially if the shoes are a bit loose to last longer for the child to grow into). Just had to exchange for a smaller size as they seem to run longer.

A comfortable, durable, attractive shoe, made of quality materials. My son wore even for casual wear. Slightly larger than size, but not enough for it to make a real difference. My son has a problem with flat feet and his ortho supports fit well for him.

This is the second pair of these purchased from Zappos. I purchased the first pair a few years ago as a gift. My daughter-in-law has worn them out and so I have purchased a second pair for her. Great shoes and great service.

My son is 6 and has wide feet, he has always had them, that being said I have a very difficult time finding him comfortable and good looking shoes. He typically wears Stride Rite and Sperry and I'm happy to say that the wide in these shoes were great, I did go up a half size and they do fit him bigger than needed but since I can adjust it with the laces they are perfect. He said "Mommy these are great!" which hardly ever happens, he also wears the penny loafer in Sperry, patent leather and they are awesome even with school socks!
