So in style these boots are fantastic. But in substance I was disappointed. The inside is not comfortable, very flat and unyielding. Shoe inserts help make them more comfortable, but there is nothing you can do for the stiffness of the top of the boot. They say they are leather, but as far as I can tell only the calf is leather, the actual top of the foot seems to be man made, which means that any time you touch anything (including carpet) the beautiful red color scuffs off. I have worn the boots 5 times now and the toe is scuffed and so is the calf where the zipper of the one boot touches the other boot when you walk. Honestly I expected better quality leather, and a better quality dye job on the leather. The boots are already cracking and you can see white underneath. I'm pretty sure real leather does not crack white. Very sad that they will not be holding up to regular use.

I love the style of this boot, but I had to return it. It say it can fit a 13" calf but that is FALSE. I have 13 1/4" calves and I could fit my entire arm into the side of the boot. If you have slender legs, you're out of luck, don't even try it.

Absolutely the BEST BOOTS EVER! I have so many fantastic things to say about these boots, I don't even know where to start. The color (I ordered red) is beautiful. It's not quite as bright as it appears in the photo, but is still gorgeous. The red is more of a cranberry color, but the leather has light and dark tones throughout the boot, so it's very easy to pair with just about any other red. Speaking of the leather, oh my! It is so incredibly soft, it feels like you're stepping into a cloud! Even though the leather is buttery soft, and fairly thin, it's still very sturdy, and does not slouch, or lose it's shape. The button details and ruching are beautiful as well, and do, obviously add a bit of extra width to the size of your calves, but not so much that they look fat, or out of proportion. They can be worn under or over jeans, and look great with shorts or a short dress or skirt as well. They are 100% true to size, and fit like they were personally handcrafted for me. That being said, my foot is slightly wider than average, but not so much so that I need wide shoes. Those of you with narrow feet will do just fine wearing a thicker sock with these boots. They're SUPER comfy to walk in, and so lightweight, it feels more like you're wearing flats. They are very well constructed, and seem like they'll last a lifetime. I love them so much, I ordered another pair in green, and will most likely be ordering black as well. DEFINITELY an ESSENTIAL part of your wardrobe!

This boot has many good reviews, but I found the hard sole unbearable. The shaft circumference is listed as 13", but it's actually larger than 14".

These boots are awesome! They look great and are comfortable. They are true to size and accommodate a person with a wider foot like me. I am a teacher and I need comfortable shoes and these are perfect! I am a fan of Miz Mooz and they don't disappoint!

These boots are fabulous! After searching for three winter seasons for flat boots that are cute and comfortable I finally landed on these. They are perfect! Can be dressed up or worn every day, worn all day and still comfy. I'm currently 7 months pregnant and they look and feel great all day long. I wish the brown were a bit lighter and less shiny, but they do look great with everything.

Finally a pair of boots that is comfortable beyond belief! I have been looking for so long! I have neuromos on both feet and the first time I put them on I wore them for 6 hours without any discomfort. :)

These are true to size (9.5) but the shaft circumference is way too big, I have a 13in calf and it was swallowed whole by these boots.

I love these boots. They are comfortable, the sizing is wonderful - great fit. They look amazing... I've owned two pairs now. My biggest complaint is the sole/heel. I just recently bought a pair that started coming apart on the outside of the heel after having worn them 5 full work days. I was mostly indoors, and when I wasn't, I was on dry ground. Talk about heart broken! The same thing happened to my first pair, but I had worn them much longer. Zappos was very good about handling my return. I am grately disappointed, and most likely will not buy another pair of Miz Mooz because of it. :/

I have received a compliment on these boots every single time that I wear them. I have a wider foot; these boots are so comfortable with the wider toe box. The detailing makes them super cute, way more trendy than any other boot that I have seen. These boots can be dressed up and made casual....well worth the money that I was hesitant to spend. I have in black and contemplating getting them in brown or red. Best shoe purchase I have made in awhile.

A very comfortable shoe. Is wide across the ball of foot area to allow for troubled feet to have extra toe and bunion room. Shoe and leather are lightweight so doesn't weigh you down walking all day. Really comfortable boot.

I own these in chocolate brown and I absolutely love them. So much so that I want to get them in red and black as well. These are super comfortable - I have walked all day in them and my legs and feet felt fine. The sole in nice and flexible. I would be nice if there was a bit more arch support, but I have high arches and that is my usual complaint. Nothing that a pair of inserts didn't fix!

Sadly not very red, not bright like it looks in the listing. Also, though I did not buy the wide-calf model, there is way too much room in the calves! I definitely need a narrower boot. Plus, the rouching makes them look even wider. The box was very comfortable though, and I loved the furry lining. I was tempted to keep them despite the color and width issues, but they cost too much to not be perfect.

Miz Mooz, what happened? I used to love this boot but since 2014 the quality of this boot has severely gone down. I bought a replacement pair in 2016 and during the second wear, a friend stepped on my heel and the heel separated from the shoe. Super disappointed.

While I love the look and feel of the shoes, I was very disappointed with their quality. The glue on the sole separated after wearing them twice (the same thing happened to my friend's pair) and they scuffed far too easily in the toe, losing color. I was hoping to have these for a very long time as I loved them!!

I bought these boots 8 years ago. They are casual and comfortable.

I've now owned these boots since winter of 2019 (reviewing Oct 2020), wore them about 20 times and they're still flawless. They fit perfectly from the beginning and has yet to get worn out.

I’m 5’4” and 150 lbs & the height of this boot shaft was the best of any I tried, 15 in. It’s an adorable boot & a friend of mine has this pair and has worn them for years with lots of complements & only minor repair. The slouchy look & button detail & round toe ended up not looking very good for me (a pear with short legs) but it looks great on my friend, also short but more straight/H shaped.

Just receiced my boots. Black. Size 7. Love them!! Comfy. This is my 4th pair of Miz Mooz and they are by far a favorite brand. Loving the different style as they are not your typical riding boot. Receiving many complement.

OMG so glad I bought these. Even cuter in person. So soft on the inside and feel good on. I got the red. The color is gorgeous, not too bright. I wear a 7.5-8 in most shoes and 8.5 in running shoes. I got these in a 7.5. They fit perfectly BUT if you wanted to wear thick socks with them you will probably want to go up a size. They are a little too tight right across the top of my foot with my thick smartwool ski socks on. It's fine because I was just trying them on with whatever socks I was wearing and don't plan on wearing socks this thick with them. I think if I had ordered them in a size 8 these socks would be fine. Can't wait to wear these out on the town.

I love these. I have them in red and they are one of my most favorite pair of shoes. The leather feels super luxurious and there is lots of room in the toe box for my wide feet. I like that I can wear real socks w/ them too.

These are the best boots. I had a pair before for years and had to throw them away due to a mold infestation. I tried to get a different type of boot, but nothing ever matched up. I have large calves and these fit like a glove. I don't like squishing my feet into pointy anything, so these give my toes room to breathe. A teeny tiny bit of lift makes me feel great without being an actual heel. They don't have any arch support so that and/or a lightly padded insole would be an improvement.
