Great fit. Very comfortable. Stitching on black shoes is shown as black but is actually white. Makes the shoe look a bit funky. Not what I was looking for. I am sending them back.

I have flat feet and needed a casual shoe that would accommodate an orthotic insert. A Zappos search with that criteria yielded these shoes. While they are expensive, the shoes really do look great. I was able to remove the factory inserts and replace them with my orthotics. I have only worn them a couple of times, so that is the extent of my experience.

I ordered these for husband who wears a size 7 and needs very supportive shoes because of leg problems. The shoes he received are marked size 40 both inside and on soles but are ½" longer than his other Naots in size 40 (11¾" versus 11¼"). He cannot walk without them flopping off, so they will have to go back. Too bad, because they are good looking and well cushioned. We are afraid to reorder because now we do not know what the true size 40 from this brand is supposed to be.

Instantly comfortable the first time I put them on. They are also very good looking and unique enough to stand out while still going with any type of dress code. I received multiple compliments on these at work.

As far as looks my wife referred to them as "men s lingerie", according her they look that good. lol Who am I to argue with her. This is my 2nd pair of Naot's. My first was when I was a nurse (not working in an office) and I wouldn't have made it without them. These are not as comfortable as those but they're built for a different use. The heel does feel a little high at first but they are solid, very comfortable and well made. Extremely versatile, they go great with jeans or kaki s you can dress them up or down without any issues.

Nicely made. Outstanding quality. Looks more expensive than it sells for! The heel felt kind of high at first. But after couple of going outs that feeling disappeared.

Very well made shoes! Excellent arch support with slightly higher heel that eases my Achilles tendonitus problems. I normally wear a narrow but the medium width fits me perfectly. My second pair of Naot shoes and I plan to purchase more.

My husband loves these shoes! Says they're the most comfortable shoe he's ever worn. And so unique!

Great shoe for support. I have problems with foot pain but these help tremendously. The heel composite almost eliminated my heel pain.

The shoe looked alright, albeit heavy. Over the decades we are more used to wearing lighter shoes. I returned it because of the weight. Casual shoes. Looks good on the foot.

Like the style and sole comfort. Shoes run big so got one size smaller. A little tight at the new size, but feels like it will stretch nicely.

My husband loved these but was disappointed to find the 14 to short...most others a 14 is a 48 Naot is 47...so the hunt continues!

Good looking, quality shoe. I wear size 14 and they are usually plenty long and wide for me....this shoe runs small. I was able to keep it as it fits but a bit snut. With a quality shoe like this it will form to my foot in a couple of weeks.

My one foot is about one size bigger than the other (conversely my one foot is about one size smaller than the other) so I always have trouble finding a shoe size that works well for both feet...these work and are very comfortable. There was no beak-in period and they feel like I have been wearing them for months. I'm excited to have found this brand. Only issue is a slight "pfft" sound has developed in one shoe about two weeks in...maybe they will stop eating beans soon and the sound will go away...

Wide, very wide. Look at the view from above the shoe -- notice how wide the front looks, it will look even wider once it's on your foot. I'm returning them. My wife told me I looked like a duck because of how wide these shoes are. That being said, they are very comfortable. So if you're looking for comfort and don't mind the width, then these are the shoes for you. If you've ever owned a pair of Doc Martens, that's what these reminded me of when I took them out of the box.

Great fit for my wide feet, with right arch elevation, and perfect balance between flexible and stiff shoe construction. Zero break-in period.

Previous Naot Chief pair held up well, so i purchased again in another color. The sole separated from the upper on these relatively quickly- a big disappointment.

This is a nice looking, well made shoe, but unfortunately not for taller foot profiles. The last it’s built on is apparently for flatter feet than mine. It also felt narrow, and it may stretch out when broken in, but in my experience, this creates added stress points for both the shoe and the foot. I am returning the shoes. Should your feet tend toward narrow and flat, these may well be your favorite shoe.

Great looking shoes. I love em with jeans. I do question how long the soles / heels will last. They are very soft not replaceable. I do a lot of walking and am guessing that I'll wear through them quickly.

I have owned these shoes for about a year and wore them a few times a month, now the upper has almost completely separated for the sole on the right shoe. I would expect better quality for the price.

I loved the way these looked. But I am a heavy dude, at 6 foot 1 inch and 280 pounds. I could tell these shoes would have been quite nice if I were lighter. The padding inside was not enough for me. I felt like I was walking on a wooden frame. Very, very uncomfortable.

I wanted to like these as they felt comfortable and fit as expected. However, they are a little plain and the toe looks really round compared to other styles available today. I returned them because the left shoe emitted a deep "sqeaking noise" (pardon the language--sounds like a f*#t) with heel lift off with every step--just can't have that.
