Needed a new back pack. I had my last one for 6 years (Northface), through high school and 1/2 of college. I wanted a pack just as durable with less pockets. I can't talk about the durability yet because it has only been a month but it is perfect for what I need in a pack right now. Not a lot of cushion in the straps or back.

As a first time buyer of a Jansport backpack I was hesitant to spend the extra cash but I am so glad I did. The backpack is sturdy and durable...long lasting quality. The color shown is slightly off to what I actually received. The actual color is a darker shade of red...which I was fine with. Great pack that will last many years! Glad I chose Jansport.

I love this backpack! I just got it a few weeks ago so i can't speak to how well it takes wear and tear but it is well constructed and i love the bottom! The whole bag is really well made. I would buy this again in a heartbeat.

Wonderful all-purpose basic backpack, for adults or kids; great for school, camping, day-trips, airline carry-on, whatever. Terrific value for the price. Tough Cordura fabric is much more durable than regular polyester backpack material, plus the suede bottom ensures against holes from wear. I've had one of these packs for over 20 years, and it's still going strong; I had it in college, and it has since withstood much domestic and overseas travel (multiple times), plus my son's Boy Scout camping trips.

I ordered this backpack at 3:00 pm on a Wednesday, and got it 4:45 the very next day. And shipping is FREE! I am so impressed with Zappos service!! Backpack is great, the only thing is that if you look up this back pack on Jansport website it's more of a maroon, and on Zappos website it looks more like a firehouse red (I was taking a chance because I like maroon better) and it's definitly darker than this bright red in the picture (in my favor the color was a little off because I don't like this red!!) I have purchased things in the past with Zappos years ago and must have forgotten how amazing they are! Go Zappos!!

Was very glad that Jansport continues to make high functioning bags that can handle the wear and tear of heavy use. Zippers function well. Straps are strong and stitched well. Purple color is great.

Service was extremely fast! I placed my order in the afternoon and they were still able to have it shipped the same day. The backpack is perfect, and exactly as it was described. Very happy with the entire experience. This was my very first order through Zappos, but it certainly isn't my last! Thank you for making it so easy!

I already have one in red since 2011 and it still works. I ordered this one in orange to have something different for the spring. These backpacks are tough. Load them up, they won't disappoint.

Exactly what I was looking for. Several storage compartments plus smaller pockets for pens, calculator, etc. Solid product overall.

These are truly the best backpacks for school if you want something basic that will last for ever. Heavy duty all the way. Even better is dealing with Zappos. Ordered this backpack as a gift right before christmas, I think on the 21st of december. It arrived on the 23rd or 24th with standard shipping. I would not hesitate to order from Zappos.

This backpack is awesome!!! its big and it holds all my books with out ripping. It also has a really cool preppy look! i love the suede on the bottom! Its also super comfortable! I strongly recommend this backpack.

I got this for my 3rd grader. It's sturdy and works well. It fits all kinds of stuff he needs for school and afterschool activities.

The space is big enough, it fits my Macbook Air 13 inch. Its really good. I loved it

Good backpack, bottom is thick leathery material that will support the weight of a few textbooks and won't rip. The outside keeps rain from wetting your books and the color is a nice shade of purple

This pack is insanely epic! Better than my Slacker pack (I like both of them). I own three Jansport bags (this, Slacker, Super FX) and this is my fave and the best. If you don't want carrying a big bulky bag around because you want to be "cool", then this bag is for you! Too bad they don't have the original Copper Brown one, that's the best color next to the Purple one.

The color is not as bright as I think. It's not red actually!

I love this new backpack! It's actually a really gorgeous pumpkin color and not as bright as the picture. Originally, I had the Jansport Superbreak, and it has served me well. The biggest compartment on this backpack is narrower than the Superbreak, so there is actually less room for books and bigger bulkier things. However, the backpack is a bit taller, so you can just stuff it on top, but if you have extra books, it might not fit. The other two pockets in front are pretty handy, it saves me from having to bring around a little pouch for little things and it takes out the digging for my wallet. Pretty awesome backpack! So excited I got it this year.

I'm very happy with my bookbag. I was thinking it's the bookbag, it's like that? And yeah, it's really like that. I'm very happy.

I love my new backpack. It has so much space I can fit my textbooks,notebooks, folders and everything else I need. It is made of very good quality and its very durable. Not just that but the color is beautiful. I would seriously recommend this backpack to others.

This is not our first Jansport classic and it won't be the last. My younger son is hard on his backpacks likes the leather bottom. He loves the durability and color; colors guys can use. My other son is going his 5th year with his brown on and it still looks good and works great.

I purchased this backpack for my daughter who is a third year college student. I have always loved Jansport backpacks since I was in college myself. This backpack with the leather bottom is extremely durable. I had the same one and the quality is still great!

This JanSport back pack is very durable and smart looking. The suede bottom allows the back pack to hold up for an entire school year. The suede helps to prevent tears or holes in the bottom. Zappos price was affordable and the shipping was quick.

This pack is awesome! I own three Jansport packs, and this is the most durable! I totally recommend this to Jansport fans out there. The three packs I own are: Slacker, Super FX Series, and Right Pack! They are all awesome!
