Did not like the velcro strap. Wish they made them without velcro!

Loved the shoes but I was worried they would stretch as I wore them and I already had them buckled up as tight as I could.

These are very comfy and could be worn all day. However, despite the beautiful color they look a little fuddy-duddy, like bedroom slippers. They would make great around the house shoes. I chose them for the lovely blue shade because as a final touch for outfits, but the style just did not fit my wardrobe.

I had not written a review sooner, because I'm not sold on this sandal yet. I keep thinking it will get better as I wear it. I have the same shoe in the enclosed toe...my "winter" shoe. It is the most comfortable shoe in the world! The sandal gives me no support at the heal, the floor of the heal is not deep enough to stabilize my foot.

I bought these because the brand was recommended for stability and "roll" for someone who has had ankle fusion. I did feel stable so returned them.

I have extremely flat feet - even after having flat foot reconstructive surgery on one of them - and these shoes, while lovely, are not supportive enough for me. By the way, the Zappos exclusive color of pewter is a knockout!

Cute sandal but just too wide for my narrow feet. The velcro straps overlap too far and barely hold, They should put more velcro on the top straps.

I bought 2 pairs of these. They are very comfortable, my only complaint is that after a week or so of wearing them, they started to creak loudly! Can't sneak up on anyone with these on!

These sandals are super comfortable as everyone states. Apparently nobody else got shoes that squeak every time you move your foot in them or take a step! I called the company to see if this was to be expected during the break-in process. They said they had had a lot of complaints about it and would send new footbed inserts to replace the ones currently in the shoes. So I guess I will wait and see if that silences my noisy shoes. If not, I will be sending them back. I hope I don't have to since they really are comfortable. But they really are noisy! That's why I'm giving a 3 star rating overall.

Oh my, no. I loved the quality make of the shoe, from the leather interiors to the soft leather uppers, etc., but on me these resembled Hobbit feet. Giving them a test drive around my living room, they were comfy, but the "rocking" sole seemed a little hard to get used to. I applaud the company for using all leather and was tempted to keep them just for the principle of the thing, but in the end, back they went. Thanks, Alegria, for your amazing workmanship and Zappos for your amazing return policy!

I really wanted to like these shoes. I wore them around NYC for a full afternoon and evening. I wound up with a bunch of blisters. They are slightly dowdy, clunky looking. I was willing to sacrifice some style for comfort but I didn't feel that I got either. Definitely disappointed. :o(

I love Alegria shoes but this style is not as comfortable as others with a Mary Jane type strap. They tend to come off my feet easily and I tripped once wearing them and almost fell. I would not recommend this style.

Not only are these sandals ugly but they are also uncomfortable. Will be returning. If anyone still wants to order them, they run big.

I bought these because they were recommended to me for my plantar fasciitis. They are very supportive and I think they will help. I got the "pewter" color, which looked like kind of a dark grey putty. Instead, they are a very gaudy metallic silver! Quite hideous, indeed...but comfortable, so I will keep them.

I own four different pairs of Alegria - from the mary janes to the boots. This is the first pair that I have bought that are too narrow and not true to size. So if you are used to Alegria, buy a size bigger or stay away if you have wider feet.

I have ordered this item twice. First, the stitching stuck up and hurt my heel, so I ordered the next size up. Stitching on the inner strap had a piece of material sticking into my foot. Are they all defective? Workmanship must be in question.

I thought this would feel like fit flops, which are very kind to my knees...these are not. Cute but not comfy!
