Great shoe! FiveTen is one of my favorite companies, and this shoe is one of their best creations. The only downside I can think of is it's not very breathable. Where I'm at, that's fine, it never gets much hotter than 75 here. But I could see that being a problem in hotter climates.

My feet are too wide for Five Ten shoes. These were a size up, but no wider. Feet's fault, not the shoes.

These are a great style, and very comfortable. One word of warning: "stealth" rubber marks easily and is very difficult to clean up; the marks it makes are not like the ones a typical dark-soled shoe would make, the type that easily rubs away. These marks would not come up with alcohol and hard scrubbing. The cleanup crew where I work is trying to figure out a solution for the trail I left the day I wore them to work. They are great for outdoors, but bad indoors.

Too narrow. I'm going to try sizing up.

The fit was a little small but overall a very comfy sneaker. My pair are finally on their last legs after a few years of solid service. Really well made and very good looking. I quite literally hiked 100's of miles in these shoes and 100% recommend them.

First pair of Five Tens, I wear an 11 in Adidas trail shoes, 11 in Merrell boots and shoes, 11.5 in Nike. The Five Ten size 11 is perfect for my feet. I have been wearing them pretty much every day for a week or so now, and I really like them. I am tough on my footwear and have acidic sweat. My caustic perspiration can destroy brand new silkscreened logos on insoles within 2 days and completely dissolve the glue in cheap shoes within a few months. These bad boys seem like they are up to the task of simply belonging to my footwear rotation (no small feat to be sure). Wait, was that a pun?

Really well made comfortable and good looking shoe. Nailed the fit first try and am impressed with the firm support. I might get a second pair!

Bought these for riding my mountain bike that has platform pedals. The other reviews are spot on, it almost feels like you're clipped in. Outstanding traction. The fit is excellent, no break in required. They come with black laces too, but I prefer the orange.

Recently discovered the 510 brand and this is my second pair. These mid high shoes are comfortable, stylish and a fair value for the money. It's great to find a shoe that not only looks good but is also comfortable to wear. I'll shop 510 styles again. Love these shoes!

These shoes have a "Vans" look but are way better quality. 2 months now and they are still going strong with no tattered or frayed parts. These shoes make me feel like a million bucks when I put them on. They were constricting at first but with new socks and a week of wear they are perfect and breathe just right. I think it even made my genitals bigger!

I am new to riding flat pedals, but have many years on bikes of all sorts. I like these shoes on and off the bike. The size seemed true. They are stiff, which is what you want for this use, but may not be what you are looking for if you just want shoes to kick around in. The stiff ankle padding puts some pressure on my boney ankle, but this is breaking in and minor.

Perfect shoe for the DJ/park bike. They are just like halfcabs with a slightly stiffer and much grippier sole. I don't think I'd want to use them for DH riding they don't have the protection impacts have. They have nearly the pedal feel of Vans though which is important to me, impact are terrible in the park. I can't feel where the bike is at.

Love these shoes. So far I love them too much to wear riding in the dirt. I sometimes need a wide width but these are perfect in reg width.

This shoe sticks to my spank pedals very well. I have had no issues with losing grip or sliding around the surface of the pedal even in rainy downhill conditions. Off the bike, walking can be hard on your feet because there is little to no arch support. Buy Dr. Scholls, there is plenty of room for them!

This shoe is awful! This is the 3rd pair of 510s I have purchased. The other 2 were great with soft grip soles perfect for my flat pedals on my MTB. The Spitfire shoes have a hard sole that provide zero grip! I used them once so I can't return them. If you want soles that grip your flats, don't buy these shoes!
