I actually ordered 10 pairs of sandals so that I could try them all on and keep the one I wanted. This pair and a pair of Dunhams were the only ones I kept. The Dunhams are a little more plush in the sole, but I think these Tevas are better for daily wear, and are probably better suited for activity (I wear them when I skateboard). The three straps facilitate a comfortable fit, and, unlike most, the area that the Velcro attaches is substantial (many of the others had about an inch of Velcro contact, which I think would have worn out much faster). I will definitely buy these again whenever my current pair wear out.

I have big flat narrow feet so I never wear sandals (nothing fits)... until now! These have good arch support and are extremely comfortable and adjustable.

Great sandals. I have very specific requirements and this pair of sandals nearly hits the nail on the head. I don't have "stinky feet" in these sandals even in 100+ degree summers here in Texas. The footbed has a mild bumpiness, but it is still very soft. I think that that bumpiness keeps your foot from sweating, but is hard to find. The bridge from toe strap to the back strap keeps the sandal from flexing too much and so your toes don't pop out on accident. I can run in these sandals and they don't have any build quality issues. They are holding up well after 6 months of heavy use. I climbed the Great Wall of China in these sandals over the summer!

Bought these for my boyfriend, who wears a 12 and I ordered an 11 by mistake and they fit him fine. Nice sandals - run large.

Loved these out of the box! They're rugged, comfortable, and good looking. I walk 4 miles a day and having a comfortable walking sandal is very important. The Katavis offer moderate arch support and are very comfortable, even on long walks. You won't need another sandal. I had a pair of Keen sandals that split their seams after about 6 months - also the Keen's toecap prevents easily shaking out gravel and sticks that invariably get swept between the foot and the footpad. I've had Teva sandals before and they've always been nice, but they nailed the comfort with this style.

I purchased these sandals for my husband who unfortunately has had zero luck over the years finding sandals which will prevent uh, foot odors. I read the product description which indicated this sandal would prevent foot odors and it has definitely lived up to its expectation, these sandals are not only perfect if you suffer from embarrassing foot odors, they are also incredibly well made and super comfortable, you can walk miles comfortably and never feel it, my husband highly recommends these!

My Teva sandal arrived quickly and fit perfectly. Free shipping was a plus and made ordering from Zappos a pleasure. I have recommended Zappos to friends, especially if you wear hard to find sizes. Your selection is great. Bill H.

Great sandals! Stylish enough for a casual night out, yet rugged enough to go hiking in! Very comfortable right out of the box, with the excellent Teva quality I have come to expect over the years. These are way more comfortable than any other sport sandals that I have tried from Timberland or Columbia! Well worth the investment and highly recommended!

I bought these for my husband and he seems to like them okay. Not excessively excited about them, but he doesn't get too excited about shoes.

Good quality sandal, wide width is helpful. This is my son's third pair and he is very rough on shoes. They typically last one year. A minor point--the straps are a little tight for someone with moderate or high arches.

I got the Teva Katavi before I went on my last trip to Baja, I have put some miles on them and have to say really nice pair of sandals. I just got back from another trip on the beach and wore them most of the time. I am a kite flier and can't believe how comfortable they are. They clean up well and you can wear them anywhere. They also do not leave your feet stinky. What a buy.

Great fit, cushy footbed, extremly light weight, good arch support. The leather version is noticeably more cushy but slightly heavier. Highly recommended.

I ordered 4 pairs of sandals for my husband, and these were the ones he picked. They look great, he says they are easy to walk in, and better made than most. He likes the rugged sole.

I love these sandals. They fit well and have three separate adjustments to customize fit. I bought these to replace a five year old pair that the soles finally wore out.

Ordered these for my husband about a month ago. He says these are very comfortable, better than the Tevas he wore last year. Good choice for casual wear. Zappos service is outstanding, as always!

I have owned a number of Teva sandals over the years. Lately they seem to have moved the high point of the arch support back a little towards the heel, so they don’t hit me just right. The Katavis don’t have this problem for me since the arch support seems a little more towards the front of the foot and therefore is more comfortable for me. If you have the same issue I do, I suggest you try these. They are also very cushioned and the outsole seems very durable. Also, the straps are nicely padded and do not irritate at all. Overall a very good sandal.

So far, I'm liking these. I tried the leather Katavis and the Oberns, both of which were uncomfortable where the straps are looped and buckled. These don't pinch or bunch in those areas. The sole is not smooth like the Oberns which were amazingly comfy, but I get the feeling that these will be better in water, which I haven't tested yet because of the currently cold season. The tread is also good which is a great feature of Tevas.

Good fit, seem well made. Was a bit uncomfortable for very flat feet (mine) the first day, as some of the seams wrap around under where any normal person would have arches. But this disappeared by the third day, very comfy now. Only one remaining caveat-- the rubber soles are incredibly slick on some wet surfaces. The first time I tried to walk down my front stairs in the rain a week after getting these, they put me right on my butt. Walking on the wet, unfinished wood was like skating on teflon. My wife says 'yeah, technical rubber soles are like that'.

Actually bought these from Sports Chalet, but they are very good in that they shape the contour of my feet while walking or going around. Really like the brand and how it feels. The straps are adjustable so that it can wrap around the shape of my feet. The criticism I would have is that the shoe sometimes sweats between the foot and the sole. Although I think that's normal with wearing any sandal for a long time. It was marketed as "water sport" where I got it, so that is probably not a concern with the design.

I've owned 2 pairs of spoilers in the past. It looks like these have replaced them. As soon as i put them on they felt familiar. They're an excellent everyday sandal for walking through the woods or around the neighborhood. I recently took them home to New Orleans for Jazz Fest and got them wet and muddy and then dry again the same day, and they held up just great. they fit true to size in length but leave a little extra room in the width, at least for me. I have to tighten the lateral straps a bit for a secure fit. That's the only gripe I would have about these.

These sandals are great for many different uses, such as trail walking, light sports, or just everyday use. The lack of a porous foot pad makes them appropriate for wading or summer use, because they won’t get wet and funky. I had some problems with chafing from the front strap at first, but the three velcro straps makes them super adjustable and I was able to find a way to make them comfortable. I wear these pretty much every day during the spring and summer, and they’re a great bargain for the price.

I found this sandal to be quite stiff and a little rough at some of the seams. There is little to no arch support.

These are just flat out uncomfortable! The nylon stitching in the pads rubs the sides and tops of my feet so severe that I couldn't even stand in them for 60 seconds. So disappointed! Going back to Ecco, now! It's a shame that this price buys a craptacular sandal and twice as much will get me the comfort that I'm looking for. I can't stand paying that much for any shoe, but a sandal? It's not right. The color and size are right on, but blood stains even the nicest looking sandal.
