These are not truly loose fit jeans. I would say they're more close to straight leg / slim fit. Even Levi's themselves will tell you they are a lower rise, and tighter fit than before. Very, very, very disappointing. Having bigger thighs and butt, and smaller waist makes it very difficult to find nice fitting jeans. They're always too big in the waist, and skin tight in butt and thigh area. Guess I'll have to buy huge, and have them tailored after the fact. Why are companies always changing things that aren't broke? Not every guy wants skinny girl jeans, and not every guy is the shape of a skinny woman. I will never buy Levi's again. Period.

I realize these are loose fit jeans, but boy, are they ever loose. Fine, if you are a sagger and like your undies showing. I wasn't sure about the sizing, and the person helping me via live chat assurred me they fit true to size. Nope. Of course my son took the tags off and wore them so I can't return them, and I'm now the mother of a sagger. Order a size or 2 smaller if you don't want the world to see your shorts.

I bought 4 pair of jeans from Zappodeedoodah, two lighter colors: No such thing! ALL are the same shade! Please look at the photos posted. The left shows what is posted and I wanted, the right shows what I got. Worse: the customer rep said that it might have been the lighting on the original photo. (where is the puke emoji???) Now, this is the mystery: IF YOU LOOK for the COLOR NAME on the jean' labels IT IS NOWHERE TO BE FOUND. If this is the case, how can they select the one I bought properly??? And so it is... too much smiling abd getting nice with us on the surface but full incompetence in depth. Yeah... the lighting...

First off I ordered a 34 x 34 and I received a 34 x 36. Strange that they were even shorter than my Levi's 559 Jeans 34 x 34. The material is thin. I remember years ago the 569 jeans material to be much heavier. With that said I still love to look and feel of the Levi's Jeans.

I don’t know what happened to Levi’s. The sizing is useless. I ordered 36 30 and they fit like 40 32. Horrible fit.

Material is very thin, not suitable for outdoor activities. Probably okay to go out and grab a coney dog and brew.

Zappos is great. Excellent customer service. Levi's 569 jeans are NOT LOOSE. Somewhere they changed the product. They are BARELY EVEN LIKE RELAXED 559 JEANS. The levine fabric has some stretch but the 100% cotton ones are TOO TIGHT and NOT COMFORTABLE. I am now searching for an ALTERNATIVE PRODUCT from a DIFFERENT MANUFACTURER where LOOSE MEANS LOOSE, RELAXED MEANS RELAXED. I am not huge either, I am slim 6'1" tall 190 lbs.

I've worn Levi's 569's for over 10 years and have been very happy with the way they wear and fit...until now. Levi's new style 569's feel like "hip huggers" because the waist band doesn't even come close to reaching my waist line. I compared my old style 569s to the new style 569s and found the old style had a 3 longer rise in the back and 2 longer rise in the front. By changing the cut and style of the 569 Loose Straight jean, Levis should have done the right thing and renamed them to a different 5XX number thereby informing everyone looking for the old familiar 569 style jeans that they have been discontinued and are no longer available. In my opinion, Levis new style 569s are uncomfortable and match all of the other redundant 5XX style of jeans Levis makes.

I should have trusted the other reviews! These are definitely not the same 569's that I'm used to. They are nearly 2 inches smaller through the gusset and legs than the originals. Not to mention that the material is no where near the quality of my old ones. I'll be returning these and I guess I'll continue my search for some jeans for real men...

These 569's are significantly tighter than in previous years. Levi's has acknowledged this. Very disappointed.

Like everyone else has said, they have totally changed these to be tighter. I wasn't sure at first, but I measured my old pair and compared them to the new pair, they're about 2" smaller around the leg opening and thigh area not to mention the pockets are really small. It's very disappointing, if I knew they were thinking of changing these I would have bought more of them before they changed them.

These look great but are made from extremely thin low quality material. They are not even worth the price at all.

I am sitting here wearing a pair of Levi 569 36x34. I just received my order and none of them fit which is really odd since I am wearing them right now. They are just way to snug all over. I haven't gained any weight.

These are MUCH bigger than other 38’s I’ve worn in the past. They must’ve been designed by a woman because they don’t hang right at all. Feels like my boxers are constantly bunching up. Wore them to work today and what a mistake that was! Levi’s have always been comfortable but not these! Buyer beware!

fit was not right. too loose in the waist. Sits below the waist. Made of light weight, stretchy material. Front of legs were washed out to a white with a light blue tint. Very disappointing. Not what I expected at all.

These Levi 569 jeans are absolutely awful. I have always worn the Levi 560 but for some reason, Levi's have stopped making them and will tell you the 569 has replaced them. First, they are very low quality, made in Mexico. I ordered a size 40 waist but they were more like waist 42 or larger. I tried to wash them several times to shrink the waist but it didn't work. And, of course because I washed them, I couldn't return. I encourage you not to waste your money by ordering these Levi 569 jeans.

Ahhh. I guess I am giving up on Levis. I have worn Levis for years. However, it seems like a crap shoot in regard to the quality of the denim? I guess this is NOT Zappos fault. Some of the Levis (at least in the past) are a thick denim material that wears well, fades well and feel great. This pair is constructed of much thinner material. This has happened to me before. Some colors are thick material but others are thin feeling. I no longer know which ones to buy? I though this pair called "rugged" would be the thicker material but they are the newer thinner material? Some of my 569 are thick material, some are thin. I kept a "thin" pair I bought last time hoping would get used to them, but I realize I never wear them, ever. So I returned this pair.

I bought a pair of Levi's 569, in the 34x36 size in 2012. I'm not sure what Levi's is doing, but this current version of 569 jeans DON'T FIT LIKE THE OLD 569 JEANS. My other pair of 569s are about 2 inches longer, and have MUCH MORE of a LOOSE fit than these do. Same brand, same jeans, same style same size & color. COMPLETELY DIFFERENT FIT. Levi's has lost a customer. I am HIGHLY UPSET and frustrated. Never again Levi's. Thank you Zappos for processing and delivering this order to me in a very timely fashion. Levi's however, SUCKS.

Do not fit at all like they used too. The fabric does not feel the same. You can tell they are made in some third-world nation. No more quality here. They used to fit, feel, and look great. These were the last Levis left worth buying, now there are none.

569 jeans used to fit. I have two pairs of the old style. The new 569s totally different from the old ones. They have spandex in the fabric, so the jeans don't fit at the waist or in the legs. Levi's has ruined a good pair of jeans. Zappos gave me a full refund.

The Levis 569 in 'Ice Cap' are complete garbage. I love my other 569's Ive bought in the past, but these are the cheapest, flimsiest pants I've ever seen. Do not buy. On a side note, Zappos speedy delivery and costumer service is next to none.
