The Black Denim is a different fabric than the blue denims and therefore fits differently. I found that you need a larger size in the black.

These jeans are more comfortable than the button fly jeans, the fit is great and they don't shrink.

Haven't had Levi's since high school. Not sure these are worth the price yet as they seem a little on the thin side and they were a "big" price.... Could have purchased 3-4 pair of the box store jeans I normally get. Let's hope the Levi name still means something.

These would be 5-star for the right guy. For me, being "apple-shaped", I discovered these Straight Fits are way too big in the lower hip, butt and calf areas. Literally tented. The thighs fit a little better. So, returning because of size.

Rides a little low on the waist when standing (have to get used to it), but strangely enough feels just fine when sitting.

Very comfortable fit. I expected these to be tight in the legs, but was pleasantly surprised that they were pretty loose there. Well worth the money.

The Levi's 505 now uses a slightly lighter weight denim than in years past, but is adequate, soft and comfortable. Sits at the waist, is slightly fitted through the hips and thighs (not relaxed) and looks perfectly at home with a good pair of Justin Ropers (google it).

I ordered this item 1 week before fathers day and received it in plenty of time. Thank you. These Levis for my husband fit great. He is tall and unfortunately most stores do not carry his length, if they do, they are out of them. Zappos offers good products at a good price. His size was no problem to order and received them in a timely manner.

They fit great. Will look to but more from DXL.

These pants are exactly as advertised. They are comfortable and fit quite well. I am 6'7" 250 and it is difficult to find regular everyday wear pants that fit. The 505's fit the bill. Ordered a pair of 501's as well but they did not fit in the seat at all. Of course returning and replacement were a breeze as always with Zappos.

Am very happy with these Jeans. I have not had a pair of Levi's since I was 18 or 19. I figured I would try these out and see if they were better than the box store jeans I usually get. They are. I have only had them for a short time but I am very happy so far. I like that fact that the crotch does not hang way down. I think that makes jeans for big men look dumpy and unattactive and unappealing. These fit the way I expected even a little larger than I expected which was a pleasant surprise.

The Levis 505 big sizes have great fit, great durability, great color retention. And Zappos selection and consistency in having stock is excellent.

I had them tailored to my height and taken in around the leg, but I'm pretty short and like a tighter look than straight leg provides. Otherwise they are perfect.

I have always loved the Levi's 505s. They are the 501s with a zipper. I love the way they fit and look. I had to buy the 550s and 560s for a long time due to my size. I am 40W by 36L. Nice to see the great fitting pants back. The others were too baggy for me in the hips and rear.

Love these jeans and was so happy to find them in the big and tall size. Haven't had a pair for about 20 years because I couldn't find them anywhere! Becky at the new Destination XL in Omaha found them for me and took care of everything. She is great!

True to size. They are very comfortable from the first fit. Usually it takes a while for denim to break in but these were great from the beginning.
