Overpriced and takes long to break in (seems at least 2 weeks needed of a one hour a day use before wearing for a longer period of time). After breaking in for a week and 10 hours of continuous use, ended up with scars on ankles and on top of foot where the buckles are.

I owned tatami Birks in the past and loved them. So I thought I would give these a try. I love the look, the cork foot-pad, and that they have a back heel strap. However, The top leather strap tore the skin from the tops of my feet off. I've tried tighter and looser fitting, doesn't matter. I don't recommend these.

Absolute crap! I expect a sandal to be at least as comfortable as my steel toed boots. But no these are torture machines. Should be outlawed as cruel and unusual punishment!
