I have been wearing these shoes since 1993, and each pair has been fantastic! This time I bought them from Zappos.com because I found them in size 42, which I couldn't find in the stores close to where I live, and I am ecstatic! These are - hands down - the best styled, shaped and looking sneakers I have ever bought! Better than Keds. In Italy, they are considered the "peoples' shoes", everybody has to have at least a new pair every year, they have Pirelli rubber for soles, they can be washed in the washing machine at 60degreesC, and can be matched equally well with jeans, dresses, beach outfits, even party dresses! (One important detail about them is that they make legs look way better than they already do!) Thank you zappos.com for having them - and at such a good price! (I bought one pair for my daughter too, it was on sale, and it's so cute, I can't stop staring at her feet as she runs all around the house! They look lovely on her too!)

I like the casual and simple elegance of Superga sneakers -- a real timeless shoe to work into any season. It\'s really cute with summer dresses or denim cut-offs as well as skinny or boyfriend jeans. I was originally going to order the women\'s sneaker, but they were out of stock, so I opted for the unisex model. Unlike some other reviews, I didn\'t feel that they were running large length-wise but rather in the width. I am usually a 40 or 41 (9.5 or 10 US) in shoes, and went with the 41, which gives me a bit of wiggle room in the toe box. However, I find myself having to tie the laces very tightly so that my feet are properly held in place. I don\'t have narrow feet, either, so I would definitely recommend avoiding the unisex style for those ladies who wear a A width or narrower. The shoes are fairly comfortable and haven\'t caused any blistering or hotspots, though I\'ve worn them with black Superfeet orthotics for added arch support.

I got my second pair in middle of July, 2017. Zappo's was nice enough to replace my first pair --- in which the surface of BOTH insoles came loose after just 3 1/5 months. WHY? Because they're the sweatiest shoes I've ever owned, and my feet would be nearly soaking at the end of every day. Thankfully I had a pair of Dr. Scholl insoles for my second pair, but 8 months later, the sole has torn loose of the right shoe. Bear in mind, I bought these shoes to replace a pair of Tretorn I'd bought in May, 2012. If you didn't already know, Tretorns are NOTORIOUSLY undurable. I wrote Superga USA asking for help. They declined --- AND, adding insult to injury, signed off their response with "Thank you for your understanding!" Right, Superga USA --- I DON'T understand.

I like it - These shoes are pretty sweet. I was looking for a shoe that was versatile and sporty, but that could also be dressed up. They aren't too tight, but when you wear them, you find out that they're not actually all that wide either. The extra room (I wear an 8) prevented blisters I think. These are an awesome alternative to Converse and they're not associated with the trashy punk rock look. Don't get me wrong, Converse is versatile, too, but it sometimes has that nasty implication. I also prefer this shoe because it has a canvas toe lining in lieu of a rubber one. Your foot feels free in this shoe. I gave four stars for comfort because it could use a little bit more arch support and 4 stars for look because in the US it isn't as recognized as in Europe. I think it's an excellent sneaker though and I highly recommend it. If you're considering the similar Lacoste version, go with this one. It's more timeless.

Classy shoe (for a sneaker) and love being able to throw them in the washer! As for fit, I don't wear socks except in the winter with boots. My normal closed-toe shoe size is 8.5, I wear an 8 with open toe shoes. I read reviews that these run a bit long, so I opted to order a half size down. That was the right thing to do. Just the right amount of wiggle room without being too loose or sloppy. If you wear socks, depending on the sock weight, you might have to stay true to your size. They are very flat and there isn't much arch support so I bought insoles, however, still comfy without them. Overall, comfortable, washable, good-looking with boyfriend and skinny jeans. A classic purchase.

I absolutely love these shoes! I read that they were heavier, but I honestly don't notice when I'm wearing them. I got them to be able to walk around Europe this summer in style, and they fit the bill perfectly. They are very comfortable so far, even though there isn't really a lot of arch support. The rubber of the sole helps to cushion your foot. Bonus: you can wash them in the washing machine... I highly recommend these! They go with everything from dresses to jeans. I bought the white ones, but I may need to go back and also get a pair of the darker ones!

Nice color, but out of balance. While the upper is light and cool, the sole is too heavy and doesn't provide much support.

I am very conflicted about these sneakers (I got them in white, navy, and black). They look great! They are the most attractive little sneakers I have ever seen. They make my feet look very petite. But the sizing is really odd. I am usually a 6½ but the Superga 6½ was not just big - it was enormous. My feet was swimming in them. So I ordered a size 6. The size 6 works (sort of) but it runs small and much more narrow. So I have the sensation that the tip of my toe is almost touching the end of the shoe (not quite but almost too close for comfort) and the sides of the shoe barely graze my little toe. I was so confused about the sizing that I called the new Superga store in New York City to ask them about it and they told me that because the sneaker is in a unisex size, it runs differently than what I am used to. But that makes little sense to me. Why would the 6½ feel like a 7½ and yet the 6 is inching towards a 5½, and significantly more narrow?

TO ALL MEN!!!! These run a FULL SIZE SMALLER. Order 1 size up. I am a true US size 9.5 D (measured) and most of my dress shoes are 9.5 D. I had to get these in size 10.5 for them to fit right. As a comparison, I wear size 9 in Chucks, 9.5 in Vans, size 10 in Asics Onitsuka Tiger and size 9.5 in New Balance cross trainers.

If I could return these shoes after wearing them, I would. After wearing these for the first time on vacation for 5 days, I would never suggest them for all day walking events. They're not comfortable for more than 1-2 hours at a time. At the end of every day my feet were sore, and after the end of the first week, the logos on the back were peeling off. And the shoelaces were two different lengths. Overall, poor quality. Too bad I've wasted my money.

Love everything about these! They are cute with everything from skirts to jeans to sweats. So all of this made the fact that the label on the back started to disintegrate after 1/2 dozen wears all that much more disappointing. I was hopeful these would be my forever sneaker repurchase but they aren’t exactly cheap shoes (especially considering they provide zero arch support) and I wouldn’t expect them to fall apart so quickly. Maybe enough reviews will encourage Superga to upgrade their adhesive as it seems like a common complaint.

These are classic sneakers that will never go out of style. I wear a women\'s size 8, so I ordered the Euro size 39...there\'s a little bit more room around my toes than normal, but I laced them up tight & they were great. If I ever wanted to wear socks (probably won\'t) I will have plenty of room. Better to be roomy than tight. The first day I wore them I walked for hours and they were super comfortable...no wearing in necessary. I was so happy to find these on Zappos as they\'re Italian & hard to find in local stores in Los Angeles. Thanks Zappos!

I love these sneakers. The fit is true, they are comfortable if not worn as a workout shoe but simply to get around town, and they are cool heat-index wise and fashion-wise.

I’ve been on the fence about these for awhile. For casual shoes I’ve always worn converse. I’ve gotta say these are way more stylish and for reference I’m a 8.5 ladies and went down to a 8 women’s size and they fit perfectly.

Stylish, comfortable, classy and just perfect. I purchased them in navy blue and they are an absolute closet staple. I wear a size 8 1/2 in sneakers and these fit great. Wonderful for every day wear and cute enough to dress up with a dress. Looking forward to getting them in more colors.

If you are a size 8 or 7, stick to your size. I am an 8 and I decided to get 8 1/2 for precaution, but that was a mistake. It fits me a bit big, but its comfortable.

I love this shoe! I wear a size 9 in Nike, 8.5 in Allen Edmonds, and a 9.5 in Puma. The Euro size 42 fits me perfectly. I got the shoe in white and it looks great with khaki shorts and a polo. Some reviewers have said the shoe is a bit heavy, but I don\'t agree with them at all. I think the weight of the shoe is perfect. I\'m now thinking of buying additional colors like navy or ecru. Overall, I highly recommend this shoe for the summertime!

Comfy and cute. I have semi-wide feet, and usually buy an 8 1/2 or 9. I bought a size 39 and they fit perfectly. I love the bright, happy red color as well.

Bought these shoes to wear on a cruise to Greece and Turkey. Wore them with socks most days on our walking tours. Felt great on uneven payment and dirt. Looked good with my capri pants and longer shorts.

I have purchased six pairs of the white Superga sneakers in my normal size over the last few years. These were my go to! Super comfortable, breathable, wash and wear forever. However the last two pair I’ve purchased are NOT the same. They’re a little bigger, the toe box is longer, they are very stiff! AND THEY SQUEAK!! I never had these problems with any of my older pairs. Right out of the box they were perfect. I now realize the old pairs were manufactured in Vietnam and the new pairs are now being manufactured in Mexico! Hopefully Superga quality control recognizes an issue and fixes it, because they’re just not the same!! Such a shame!

Fits TTS- I regret buying this shoe!!! so heavy and stiff- no support at all, hurts my feet every time I wear it specially I have plantar fasciitis... wasted money!!! Italy’s pride and joy but it’s made in China- my old pair of converse jack purcell and seavees both WAY WAY BETTER than this!!!! But thank U Zappos for 5 star customer service all the time!!!

A great simple shoe that is easy to match with outfits. Lengthwise, the show felt true to size however I have narrow feet and the shoe was too wide for me. There is also no arch support. I had to tie the laces tighter to make up for the width which didn't bother me since I really like the style of the shoe.

This is a great-looking sneaker but, for me, ran a half size too large. I’ve worn a size 7 consistently in all styles of shoes for years, and originally ordered a 7 in this shoe. I have since ordered a 6-1/2 and they are perfect with a medium weight sock liner, which is what I figured I’d be wearing with these shoes. Even with a heavier no-show gym sock, my heel kept sliding in the size 7 - so they will go back. Now that I know the correct size for me, I will have to order another color - very comfortable, very cute.

LOOOOOOVE THE SHOES! They are comfy, chic and classy. Those babies took me to Toronto. Together, we went to Azores this summer. We walked the streets of São Miguel and Terceira. A new adventure awaits us at every turn!
