These boots are about a year and a half old and the material on the toe area started cracking and then the sole started coming unglued. I wear them around my property and morning dew should not cause this kind of damage. I thought I was buying a quality boot that would last but these aren't them! Don't waste your money!

I Have had 3 pair of these.First pair about 3 years ago they lasted a year and a half but I dot wear every day.Second pr wore out after a year and the third pair already breaking down less than 6 months. I do not wear daily at all have work boots for that wear maybe 20 percent of time just around town do not work in I think they feel good on your feet just don't Last This last pr is already breaking down at heel and coming apart they are size 10 I weigh 158 lb so never been hard on shoes Would be great if they held togeather a little better And as far as water proof I can't agree Less than 6 months breaking down at heel and leak worse than first 2 pair did

Boots run big. Ordered a 12 fit too big size 0.5 down. I wanted to love but now I am stuck with these boots that are too big and I have to wear multiple pairs of socks so my foot doesn't float around.

This is the 3rd or 4th pair of these I've bought. Either they got narrower or my feet got wider. But they don't make wides of this boot above size 9. Wildly disappointing. This is otherwise a great boot. I don't know why Ariat thinks long footed women only have narrow feet.

Day 1 soaking wet socks not from misuse in any way shape or form. The product is seriously false advertised concerning the waterproof claim. Bought this boot to take on a 100 mile hike in middle of winter, nearly lost my toes to frostbite due to the fact of my feet constantly being wet. Wouldn't give a brand new pair to a bare foot homeless man

I have an old pair of these that have lasted 10 years. I bought a new pair about 4 months ago and they are junk! The black padded collar around the heel is crumbling. The worst part is the heel is coming off of both. I'm no longer an Ariat brand user.

Bought my first pair after asking a woman wearing the boots how she liked'em and she said, " These are a cowgirl's real working boots whether in mud or manure." After purchasing 2 pairs of Fatbaby Boots within the last five years, the 2021 model fit "cannot compare" to the STYLE & COMFORT of my previous purchases. Where will I go now for a boot that provided a healthy fit, a sashy kick, and quality/longevity? "these are the real cowgirl's workin' boots

The boots are extremely comfortable but the fabric near the laces after three days of wearing them I live way out in the country so its a hardship to return them via post office. I will eventually try to glue it because the section of fabric that is separating is is getting bigger.

I bought these for my husband and he said they were nothing like the last pair he had. Much more uncomfortable. You don't make that style anymore.

The construction has changed. They used to have leather for the upper boot part now they are made with a weird synthetic mesh. This is my 4th and sadly my last pair of fatbabys. Why did they change?? They feel like cheap plastic boots

I have only had mine a few months. I do wear them everyday to care for my animals, but was disappointed when the stitching in both boots came undone.

I have worn these for years and recently ordered a replacement pair to find they have changed them. Not nearly as comfortable and look totally different then my old ones. I was disappointed to say the least. These were my go to shoes.

Terrains used to be my favorite, go to boots for all types of activity, from riding to working. I have 4 pairs that I have been rotating for about ten years. I bought a new pair about a year ago, and the toe caps have come off, the arch support is not very supportive, and the sides have ripped out. I also have 2 friends that purchased Terrains in the last year and they both complain of foot and knee pain when wearing them. I noticed that my 4 old pairs were made in China and the new ones (including my friends') were made in VietNam. Ariat - time to improve quality and fit to what they were in the past!! Tough for me to recommend and I may have to look for a replacement. :(

Bought with excitement- returned disillusioned. Horribly uncomfortable- like walking in a vice. Hard cheap feeling leather and nasty rubber heels. They feel, and look, cheap. Very overpriced. Wouldn't by Aristotle again.

I have purchased Ariat Terrain boots for probably the past 15 years and they were always my 'go to boot' no matter if I was riding or hiking. I purchased a pair about 1-2 months ago and have worn them less than a dozen times and never where they have gotten wet. I just noticed the black piece that runs around the toe has begun to break away already. TERRIBLY DISAPPOINTED in the quality in my recent purchase! I never minded the cost of the shoe because of how durable they were. Can't say that about this pair. I need to rethink future purchases for my riding/barn shoes.

Had these boots for year now and from day one they gave me fits. First off I had to buy a boot stretcher to widen the throat of the boot because it was giving me blisters after 3 hours of use. Second the soles cracked during the winter right at the pad of the foot on both boots. Lastly the dye they used in the leather turns the socks orange. Wouldn't recommend for the farmer that is expecting their boots to last more than a year

I purchased these new and have worn them very lightly.. Material is falling apart.. see for yourself. I have used and own several Ariat products and have been very satisfied in the past. This ragged material gets noticed at the barn.

I normally wear a 8.5 EE. Ordered that size and my heel wanted to pull out of the boot with every step. Returned and ordered a size 8 EE and can't even get my foot to slide into the boot. It's almost like there is 3 shoe size difference between the 8 and the 8.5. Disappointing because they look like nice boots. I give up.

This boot is NOT the FB Ariat used to make. Extremely stiff boot. I kept pair from 2004 and resoled them several times, had the saddle stitched back together, etc... then my dogs got them. I have purchased 4 pair since and they're all completely horrible. The leather is beyond stiff and even after oiling, working them, stretching them, they are the worst shoes/boots I have ever owned. Everything about them is uncomfortable, where the opposite used to be true. The area above the ankle caves in and pushed on top of your ankle bone, they are so stiff. I have 4 pair of this newer version (husband bought be last pair with oil from the boot store in the hope we cools work these like a baseball glove-nope!). Terrible what has happened to these boots. I'm intentionally giving these to our dogs as dog toys. It seems the bomber version might be softer, but the leg of the boot only comes in pink. How many adult women really want to wear pink?? Epic fail, Ariat.
