They're Birkenstocks. How could you go wrong? I bought this pair to replace a 20 year old pair that I had recorked and resoled 10 years ago. This time though, I bought the Narrow width. But I've gotta be honest, I noticed no difference in the widths at all. I even lined up my old pair with my new pair to see any difference in width and there was none. I still had to tighten the shoestraps to the last hole, which means that as they wear, I'll have to punch new holes in the straps. Don't get me wrong, these are the most comfortable shoes on the planet! I do hope that my new pair of Birks will last me 20 years!

I love these shoes! Having been diagnosed with RA/Inflammatory Arthritis I needed a show with support. I've been wearing Birkenstocks for years and have tried other orthotic-type shoes, but always go back to the Birkenstocks.

I followed Birkenstock’s size guide. I am a 7.5/8 and have wide feet. Still I ordered the recommended 38R(7/7.5) and they fit great! I did not experience any of the painful breaking in Birks are known for. I even seem to have a little extra room. They are extremely comfortable!

I am a women’s 8-8.5 so I originally ordered a 39 and they were too big so I had to return them and order size 38. The size 38 fit perfectly so I would suggest sizing down. I received them and the quality of the shoes were perfect and brand new. After reading some reviews I was worried there would be visible flaws after reading some of the reviews but I was pleased with the quality. This is the second pair of Birkenstock Arizona’s I have bought after my first pair of four years became trashed. Highly recommend these shoes!

These were too big, I'm a size five normally and a 35, so I was already worried when I saw 35 EU was 4.5 US, so I bought the 4.5 and it was still too large.

I absolutely love these sandals but they kill my old feet. I have arthritis in my foot and the shoes make my feet hurt, although they fit perfectly.

I wear mine with socks to the office and have gotten compliments on them. They’re stylish, comfortable and casual. Perfect to just slip on and go. A friend saw them and said his lasted for ten years. Hope mine lasts that long.

Simple, classic perfection. Perfect fit in my 12/45 size. Soft suede. Broke in beautifully. Lost count of which pair this is for me. Still the gold standard.

I have arthritis in both knees and need shoes with good arch support and hard insoles. Birkenstock’s Arizonas in the original hard cork footbed fit the bill perfectly. The suede uppers and footbed are wonderfully soft. My only quibble is that I wish there were more color choices. I know Birkenstock’s makes other styles, but those all have soft footbed and/or are other materials (not suede). I’m allergic to polyester, so I can’t do faux suede or whatever it is that almost all of the feminine styles are. My feet get hives when I try them! Please Birks, give us more Arizonas and even other styles with a hard cork footbed and real suede uppers! I live in the desert and wear sandals almost every day. I would buy all of them!

Perfect! Excellent! Although I love the soft footbed, I wanted these to have the regular footbed for being out and about especially at ballfields. Felt like when I wore my soft footbed the sand, dirt and grit dug into footbed and I did not like that at all. With these I can shake them out and good to go. Love the soft suede of the straps. As per usual of Birks with regular footbed, a breaking in period was required but did not take long. I own probably a dozen different pair of Birks. Have worn them since I was a teen and am now in my early 40s. Think it’s pretty ironic that the two strap original style is so popular again after years of being told I looked like a hippie all these years. Not that I cared - the comfort and longevity of Birkenstock’s are why they are my go-to shoe.

I’ve had Birkenstocks in the past. These are about the same as they were 150 years ago. Love them. These light tan suede pair will be nice on the cape this summer. Soft foot bed is nice.

This is the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever had. Whenever I come back home from work and my feet are tired, my Birkenstocks are the only remedy. This is my first pair, but I know I will get the same after these get old. The suede is soft and high quality. You just need to be careful around the kitchen when cooking- but it is always with suede that grease leaves stains. I highly recommend these sandals. Your feet will be thankful.

Finally! I have been trying to find a pair of Arizonas that fit me. My feet, which are not wide, didn’t fit into Narrow or Regular. Finally figured out that buying the regular as opposed to the Soft Bed was a game changer. There’s room! Still breaking in, but they are definitely my size. Thanks Zappos for letting me exchange until I got it right!

Make sure to measure your foot properly and once they fit perfectly you will never want to take them off. I don’t care so much about how they look but they feel amazing and incredible quality. We have Birkenstock’s that last 10+ years. You won’t be disappointed.

The sandals feel almost as good as the pair I wore in the 1970’s! Having recently had bunion surgery, my foot is still swollen and tender; my Birkenstock sandal is the only one I can wear comfortably! By the way, Zappo had the order at my house in two days!

these are super comfortable and offer great support. they run very wide though. i've always worn a medium shoe and these are on the last hole and are too wide. i'm keeping them because i've worn them for the past few days but ordered a different color in the narrow width. they fit much better and are on the third hole. if you wear a medium width, you might want to think about ordering the narrows.

I love Birkenstock’s. First time I have bought a pair of narrow ones but after reading the reviews I felt they were the best choice. I do not regret it!

Birkenstock says that 36 is equivalent to a women’s size 5 or 5.5 but I am a 6 and the 36 fits perfectly. I prefer the hard footbed because I think it is easier to walk in. Great support. I find myself wearing them in the house to help my knees.

What can I say? They are birks. They are insanely comfortable. My family calls them 'hippy shoes' but I don't care, they are that awesome. Love these shoes. I found that the soft suede leather did stretch a little bit while being worn, had to adjust them a few times. I did choose this light color so I could overdye them with a purple suede dye since the leather colors are sort of limited. I get compliments every time I wear them, which is funny for 'hippy shoes'. They are a great lazy summer day shoe. I even wear them with socks into the fall, hate giving them up. They do fit a bit looser than most women's shoes do, but that's ok, they are supposed to fit like that. I have high arches and that loose but supportive fit is just perfect.

Birkenstocks have been my favorite new shoes! They fit my fairly wide feet very well and the length is perfect. I would say I have pretty normal arches not too high not too low and these support them very well. I can wear these all day without any back pain and even with minimal cushion that they provide they're still very comfortable to stand on due to the support. Zappos shipping is amazing I'm very happy

I wear an 8 1/2 so I ordered the 39 on my first try. Even with socks I felt like they were just too large. The straps on their tightest setting were still too big as well as too much length in the foot bed. So I exchanged them for the 38 and they fit perfectly with or without socks. So it would seem these run large.

I never understood the Birkenstock hype until I finally caved and purchased my first pair. These are hands down the most comfortable shoe I have ever put on (and these aren’t even the softbed version!) The only down side would be figuring out the sizing. I typically wear a 5.5 and the size 36 were too big as I had tried that size on at a retail store. For these, I decided to go with a size 35 which translates to about a 4-4.5 on the Birkenstock size chart, so I’d recommend sizing down. Also, I chose the narrow size and I would say my feet are neither wide nor narrow. Overall, they fit perfectly and are very well made. The inside material will show your toe marks very quickly if that’s something that bothers you. Love love love these!

These ran a little large so we exchanged - my daughter typically wears a 10, so we re-ordered in a 9 and they fit perfectly. Customer service was GREAT in helping us with the exchange.
