Rockport seemingly has abandoned the brand's legendary comfort by switching manufacturers. Rockport shoes made today in India (rather than in Vietnam previously) are stiff, rigid-feeling and are found to have manufacturing defects, like eyelets. They hurt my feet. The ProWalker M7100 has an overly large Rockport logo predominantly on the front which I think is tacky looking.

The shoe's interior got eroded within less than three months use making it painful to wear. I am not an avid walker either that my load of walking can cause this.

Honestly, I read some of the reviews, most raved about these shoes, so I bought a pair. I know new shoes are going to take time to break in, and I wore off and on at home on carpet to get used to them. But I needed to start wearing them as my daily work shoes. I should have stuck with my gut and sent them back. they are uncomfortable for standing in long periods, Personally, if I could I'd return them...but they have been worn outside and in snow, so they are too used to return, might be good for some, but not for me!

The finish on these is cheap. There is no padding around the shoe lace area. The area inside the shoe around the laces was not sewn properly.

Not happy with ProWalker. Always wear Rockports for work but these are not right. I need to re-evaluate my choice.

Have bought these shoes over the last few years and used t love them. The latest pair came and 3 weeks later the heal is separating from the shoe. Zappos won't do anything abut it, thus I am no longer shopping with Zappos, and wlll not purchase these shoes elsewhere again.
