Rockport is a shoe that wears like a sport shoe, with the looks of a professional shoe. For people who stand, walk on their jobs it's perfect. This shoe is the best for any occasion, well maybe not a wedding. My husband has been wearing this style for at least 20 years. He will not wear any other. This shoe does not wear out - that's saying a lot. Shoe cleans up with simple care. After wearing a long time, he gets second pair, takes the older ones for yard work, ditch digging and they are still going. Thanks Zappos for selling something so hard to find.

Not a walker - Felt fine walking on carpet. First time serious walking, could not finish. No arch support. May be OK for someone with no foot problems. Have had Rockports before and was happy, but not this time.

Rockport - This was the third consecutive purchase I made of the same shoe, size and color. I never did this for any other shoe during all of my 82 years! Apparently Rockport has discontinued making them. This I consider a mistake and a shame! On the Zappos website you stated that there were only three pair left in stock. Several other sources had none. So this pair may have to last me for the rest of my life.

Normally size 7 M fits me exactly. These seem to run small, so a 7 1/2 M should be right on this model.

A great shoe for walking. I had ordered it too narrow but called to make an exchange and the new wider shoe was here in two days. Great shoe, great service and no charge for shipping either way!

Bought these for my son, he is on his feet at least 8 hours a day sometimes more than 8. He loves these shoes, very comfortable and good support.

The only thing that I really need to say about the Prowalker is that I just received my 4th pair...they are that comfortable. I use orthotics and tried several other shoes before discovering these...comfortable, durable, nice looking, and accept orthotics.

I once depended on Rockports for high quality casual shoes with leather uppers and that were comfortable for walking. When production moved from China to India, some terrible mistake was made with the sizing. In my photo, one sees an old Rockport ProWalker, wide width, previously the widest width available from Rockport. Compare this to a new Rockport ProWalker, "extra wide width." The new "extra wide" is narrower than wide used to be, so of course it is too tight for comfort. This brand is dead to me.

These walkers are high quality and extremely comfortable. The sole is very shock-absorbent without the bulk. The shoe is normal to wide with a roomy toe bed. Not fashionable, but certainly not terrible. A solid choice at a good price!

This was my first purchase through Zappos. I must say, not only was their price the best on the web, but their delivery and customer service were also excellent. I highly recommend them for any purchase. Thank you for your attention to detail.

Ii really enjoy my Rockport Pro Walkers that I purchased from Zappos the price was great and the shipping was fast I even told my family friends and coworkers about Zappos.

I have always liked Rockport shoes and these are no exception. They fit great, and are very comfortable. They look good, too.

Excellent product! Have been buying same model for years. I walk outside in the nice weather and inside on a treadmill in the winter. This walking shoe is just fine for both applications. While there are new walking/running shoes on the market just about every day, this shoe is a perfect illustration of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it"!

They look and feel good, and quality seems fine. Maybe a little narrower than some other EEEEs.

This is a wonder walking shoe. Great for the value comfort and style. I feel Zappos is a great place to shop and have referred family and friends. Your customer service is fantastic!

Second pair of Rockport in same style, size and color. Nice comfortable everyday dress shoe and walking shoe. It is exactly the same as the pair it replaces. Appreciate the consistency with this model and the reliability of Zappos in delivery. Was not a Christmas gift but it arrived quickly and well packaged during the holiday rush.

These are fantastic shoes. I have a pair I bought about 10 years ago, which became my yard/workshop shoe after the leather wore (mostly due to me using it as a workshop shoe when I shouldn't have!). I was delighted to discover them on Zappos, and ordered more. They are really comfortable from the first wearing, and a great combination of supportive and flexible. Ideal for anyone who walks or stands a good bit during the day, and stylish enough to be a casual dress shoe.

I have real problem feet with bunions and callouses and find it very difficult to find comfortable shoes that don't really pain me while trying to break them in. These Rockports need no breaking in. They are very comfortable from the start and from past experience will last for years.

These are very comfortable. I did not need any break in period. I am in the health care field and on my feet continually. I am a big person and need excellent foot support. These shoes look professional for my industry.

I have numerous pairs of these shoes over the last 12 years. I think they are very durable. The insole is a bit thin but can easily be replaced with a thicker one. I have a wide foot and have a hard time finding 4E width, but Rockport makes it. It is a good bang for the buck.

These are the only sneakersmy husband will wear. He will not even try on any others. I buy him a pair as soon as his current pair start to look bad. If Rockport ever stops making these, I think the guy will have to go barefoot.
