Plantar fasciitis? What's that? Is what my poor hurting feet said the minute I put on my fabulous new Super-Birki's. They're not going to win any fashion awards, I suppose, but who cares if your feet don't hurt. My husband even had me get a pair for him and it is unheard of for him to spend this much for a pair of shoes.

I got these shoes for work. I'm an RN, so shoes are very important to me. When I first got these shoes I didn't like them, they felt hard and uncomfortable. BUT I continued to wear them around the house and found they conform to your feet and are so comfort. I love these shoes. They do tend to run small.

I was excited to get these but had to return them. This shoe is not for you if your toes are more "squared off" instead of tapered with a longer big toe. The toe angle was too steep and my center toes uncomfortably hit the end of the shoe. As usual though, Zappos had fast, great service!

I am a physician working long hours at the hospital and at the office. I bought these Birkis in 1999 and have worn them during my long hours in residency. They are super light, much lighter than the Danskos I used to wear, and I am replacing them for the first time now - 10 yrs later!!! (Only because a small wear hole has developed at the big toe.) I love them.

I had to go to the Birkenstock online store to buy these in a 35 (the red shoe in the photo). I wear 5.5 in U.S. sizes, and I have wide toes, but the 36 ( blue shoe) was swimming in all dimensions. These clogs are supposed to fit a tad loose, and require your active participation when walking in them. The 35s work for me--but I could probably have gone with a 34, I bet! I'm using them as my "pop outside to walk the dog" shoes, now that we're a no-street-shoes-in-the-house family, and they're great for that.

Although I liked the shape and comfortable feel on the inside, the outside was too hard like Swedish clogs. I assumed they were more soft and flexible like Crocs Brand.

I work in a hospital on my feet all day and these are great! My feet don't hurt after a 12 hour shift. I did get the cushion insoles (order one size smaller than the shoe) to put under the cork insoles. My local Birkenstock store told me to take the footbed out after wearing or it can get a little stinky. No problems with odor, these are great. I usually wear a 39 but wear a 40 in these.

I love these shoes! I got hooked this summer with a pair of Birkenstock sandals that corrected the beginnings of Plantar Facitis. I bought these to go into fall and winter since sandals were not going to cut it. They are great for walking around in dewey grass, rain etc. I would note that you must wear socks with these as they can get hot and sweaty... smartwool socks have been perfect! Move over Crocs cause these Birkenstocks rock!

I have worn Birkinstocks for 25 years so know what I'm talking about. My Birki's Super-Birki are especially comfortable for arthritic feet like mine. They are super roomy and do not press on those tender areas of the foot. I wear with socks but also nice without socks. I would highly recommend for young feet and old feet like mine -- keeps me away from the podiatrist and surgery just a little bit longer.

These are great Shoes for work or play. I got these based on a recommendation from a friend at work. We both have plantar fascitis, and she swears by these shoes. So I ordered a pair since she is always raving about them. The first day I noticed that they were awesome. I could see how some people might have trouble with the breaking in period. But it was not a problem for me. These are very comfortable. And by that I mean that after over 16 hours on my feet they are still comfortable. When you first put them on, they do not feel cushiony or pillowy, they actually feel kind of hard. But just go with it, and after a long day you will see that those cusiony shoes are killing you, but these, still fresh and comfortable feeling. So I gave a overall rating of five stars and five for comfort, but I can only give two stars for style. I mean come on, they look dorky. Also, I would like to note that I have wide feet at the toes and these even give me plenty of room. So if you have narrow feet, you will probably feel like you are swimming in these.

Love these clogs. I have had three pairs of this style. I started wearing them when I had severe heel pain. Too much walking on concrete which is terrible but impossible to avoid. Pain was so bad one day that I had to walk on my toes. I put these on and immediately I could walk normally. Wonderful!!! Also love the Boston clog.

I don't know how to describe the sizing. "Felt true to size" isn't quite accurate, but we are talking about a rubber clog with a cork/linen insert, so it's not a typical shoe. In general (for example, Keen, Earth, Ecco), I wear a women's 9.5 to 10. In Birkenstock sandals or the Boston clog, I wear a 39. In closed Birkenstocks (like the Gary or Arran), I wear a 40. I ordered a 40 in the Super Birki because the the 39s were out of stock. The rubber part was too big, but the insert seemed okay in terms of the alignment of the arch and the toe supports. I wore the clog around inside to get a feel for it. Because of the big clog, I had to grip my toes a lot as I walked, but I could make it work even though the clog felt loose. When I got an alert that a 39 became available, I ordered it. This was a disappointment because the clog felt tight to my toes, even though it felt closer in overall size. The insert did not align with my arch, the toe support came under the ball of my foot, and my toe tips smacked into the ridge at the end of the insert. I thought that the 39 wasn't going to work, but I wore it around the house to be sure. Having a rubber clog that was more secure and less wobbly was very good. It occurred to me that my toes would eventually push the front cork into shape and the whole insert would mold to my foot in a more secure way than with the 40. So, although the 39 still isn't quite right, it's closer to what I need for walking on uneven ground in my garden. The cork insert seems thin and I predict it will lose the toe support and arch within a year. The linen covering for the foot area is uncomfortable for those with sensitive feet. The weave is discernibly rough. The white printing on the black linen also comes off almost instantly from just walking to test the fit, which will make being sure a replacement insert is the right model challenging. The cork insert is better than a generic foot bed in a rubber clog, but it's not the robust, beautiful cork footbed of a classic Birkenstock like the Arizona with either regular or soft footbed. My advice? Don't expect these to be like a regular Birkenstock in either fit or comfort and order the two most likely sizes to be sure you select the one with the fit that will work for your needs.

These are the best shoes ever. I am on my third pair over the course of 15 years. By far, these are the most non-skid shoes I have ever owned. I started wearing them when I worked in restaurants and continue to now at my desk job because I love them so much. They are highly durable and better than most other Birkenstocks in that when the cork insert wears out, you can simply replace it (as in, take it out and stick another one in. no cobbler necessary). I find these most comfortable with either thicker socks (to keep my feet from sliding) or barefoot.

It is all about the shipping and Zappos provided super fast shipping! I use these shoes at work and I have to replace them every six months. I cannot imagine ever going back to a store for this particular item as Zappos makes it so painless to have them shipped.

We received the ordered shoes very quickly, but they were a size too small for my wife. I returned the shoes for an exchange and unbelievably we received the correct size shoes the next day! I call that service! My wife loves them!

Great shoe! Supportive, solid, slip-proof. I am a physical therapist and work in the hospital setting. I love that I can stand all day and be able to bend, twist, and lift comfortably in this shoe. Being able to put them in the dishwasher to clean is certainly a bonus. The shoe runs large and feels too long when first putting on, but this is how the shoe is designed and with a little wear time, found it fit perfectly.

Servicable - These shoes are perfect for my needs. I can wear them on wet soccer fields. I can walk the dog in wet high grass. I can wear them to do errands in sloppy weather. My feet stay perfectly dry. I can jump in and out of them easily with my hands free to deal with the dog, etc. I wear a 7, so I ordered a 6-6.5 after reading the reviews which said they run so large. I would have been swimming in a 7. I might have been able to wear even another size smaller. As it is, I have extra room for heavy socks when it's really cold and sloppy. I can deal with the extra slack I have w/o socks since I don't wear them continuously. As for style, well, they're so funny looking that they're cute. I call them my duck feet, they're so broad and consequently look so short. I'm really pleased with the dark blue which looks good with blue jeans. As for comfort, they're okay. Not uncomfortable really, but they don't give you that bedroom slipper comfort that Clarks have. However, I didn't find a shoe like this in Clarks, so just this once, I betrayed my loyalty to Clarks. For wet walks, this is the shoe for me.

I always wear a 38 in Birkenstock, but these clogs were enormous both in length and width. Even with socks they would’ve been too large.
