Glad to have a moccasin toe boot with a heal. These are a classic type, and have become harder to find in competent versions; the wedge sole has skyrocketed round the internet. As Sorel continues to proceed in trajectory after the Columbia buyout & adjusting to overseas manufacture, it assists satisfaction to know what we are receiving. These are genuine McCoys at reasonable cost that hold up well under limited duty. The heel is an essential feature of the woodsman's footwear because of how a wedge can slip down a wet log. Heels dig in, and also catch leverage when needed. While these are foremostly conceived as an urban version of the outdoorsman's traditional apparatus, the reference to Native American gear is well rendered, and these hold their own when forced to prove their salt in the hiker & camping category as long as one uses other heavy duty versions for intensive explorations and chores.
