I originally ordered a size 11, which is the same size as my other dress shoes. However, that size was way too tight. I ordered an 11 1/2 and found there was more room front to back and side to side. It's actually a little too big, because my feet slide around at little on the insole in the shoe. The insole is very slick. But the shoe overall is much more comfortable that the dress shoes it replaced. I have some issues with my feet and I can't wear a leather sole any more. These shoes look fine for what they are. I highly recommend them for anyone who needs a dressier shoe and needs to walk on pavement.

UGH...I did a lot of research on shoes, because I have had a lot of feet issues in the past. I thought that these were going to be the shoes for me, but was very disappointed with them. I wore them today for a work meeting (probably less than a mile of walking) and noticed that they were rubbing on my heel. They seemed to fit for the most part, but definitely were rubbing on my heel. I took them off after my work function and went out for the evening. Low and behold, i had a blister on the area where I was feeling them rub earlier that day. Not sure why, but for the money I spent on these (which, by the way, I usually never do), I was very disappointed.

My 3rd pair of Samuel Hubbard shoes, all the same last but differing styles. Perfect fit and high quality construction, and a huge value when compared to comparable shoes from other manufacturers offering similar quality at 50-100% higher cost. Love 'em!

These shoes are the typical Hubbard shoe. Extremely comfortable. Very soft leather. Good bit of room in the toe box area. Nice shade of brown that should pair well with navy, tan, brown and even some shades of grey. Hate the price is a high, but extremely well made shoe and extremely comfortable.

Shoe feels a little deeper than most 4E which is a good thing and sole provided lots of support. Only real concern is if the shoe's tread will hold up. I saw the shoes originally in Airline magazines but felt more comfortable with Zappos return policy. Lucky enough to get one of the few pairs in 4E available.
