Customers Say
Customers like the comfort, fit, and style of the shoes. They mention the heel has a nice bit of padding, and the shoes don't make their feet look large. Some appreciate the arch support and ease of slip-on.

Really wanted / needed this to be a no-break-in, comfort shoe for travel doing much airport & pavement walking in dry climate. It was not. I have standard size 10 feet with a slightly high arch and narrow heel. I have not previously worn Ryka shoes but do consistently well with Ecco, Dr. Scholls, Keen, and Merrill. The shoe was tight to fit over the top of my foot in a way that eventually felt like it was pinching, even though it was a stretchy fabric. After 2 hours of travel this shoe was annoying even when just sitting. The foot bed felt flat and hard on my heel as I walking. After 5 hours or standing and walking in airports, this shoe was neither cushioning or supportive under toes or heel, and I wished I had brought another pain of trainers. It definitely rubbed the top of my foot to the point of a sore spot and felt tight even when just sitting and standing. Bummer as it is attractive and had other great reviews. These were the only closed toe shoes I took on my trip, so they are too worn to return now... otherwise I'd be doing just that. Will try again with another shoe and make sure I test them more at home before gambling with new shoes on a trip.

Ryka's always fit me true to size, and right out of the box comfort with no breaking in needed. I also don't get any rubbing or hot spots with this brand. This particular style is more of an athleisure with enough support for a brief walk around the block or to go out on walks with the dog, but I wouldn't recommend wearing them for a longer walk. They are super easy to get on and off, and they look cute with leggings.

(okay so this review looks similar to another one I wrote cause both shoes/brands feel very similar in comfort etc and I love both)
These shoes fit great right out the box. (See photo)
I needed new shoes and had a long trip upcoming, which called for comfy shoes. I have several issues with my feet, which stemmed from bunions and hammertoes, and landed my with 7 surgeries to correct issues on one foot, screws and pins in all toes, and complete mid foot fusion. Needless to say, I can no longer wear what I want, and most shoes don’t make you “feel young” nor give you freedom of style.
These are perfect. Super breathable, comfortable insole, which does not have any arch support per say. However, while I did not feel the need to use my orthotics at this time, you can definitely remove the insoles to put your orthotics in. I think with more or longer wear, or ic I plan on longer walks or light trail walking, I will prefer to do that. For now they feel fine.
The back of the shoe is more rigid (so it will not bend if your one of those people that like to make clogs out of slip-ons and canvas shoes-LOL!), while the stretchy mesh is very soft and hugs your foot, without it sliding to the side. Just like lace up tennis shoes.
And for a lot cheaper! For over 13yrs I bought shoes at a specialized store or online, which costed me an arm and a leg and only really lasted 6 months.
I got the blue ones, and I can wear them with pretty much anything. I can walk very comfortably, and do not feel tired after several hours of wear! I ended up with one foot completely submerged in a puddle, getting out of the car one day after a summer storm, so when I got home I washed the shoe. It dried up in no time with a bit of sunshine!
So glad I got them.
I totally love them, you should buy them too!

Excellent for wide toes and narrow heels. Could use a bit more arch support. Broke in on a travel day. Great overall.

I have worn Ryka sandals for years. I bought these for work. I fell three times in April wearing these shoes at work. I'm a nurse on my feet a lot. These are comfortable but dangerous. There is no good traction.
