These boots look great judging by appearnce & very comfortable. There was no break-in period. I do construction work so am on my feet 10+ hours a day. Within six weeks after purchase, these boots were in such bad shape that i could no longer wear them. The sole was separating on one boot & both would leave the boot inside out when i would take them off after my feet would sweat after a day's work. I even e-mailed Georgia Boot about my issue & they did not respond. It was overall a very disappointing experience especially considering that i paid 200+ dollars for these.
