I was so excited about these boots. Im a New Yorker and my feet are my transportation. I bought these for walking in weather. They are super comfy but I very quickly realized a major design flawthe soles have almost zero texture for traction. The tread is not enough, the sole must have markings for grip. These are without grip. I have nearly fallen about a dozen times in snow, slush, and wet rainy pavement. Just today I was sliding on snow as if it was ice! These absolutely do not have exceptional traction as the product describes. So this product does not work for the very reason it was designed. Dangerous shoe unless youre on dry land. Please be careful. These are not safe.

I bought these boots for cold, snowy and icy winters. The soles are very stable on icy walkways. Very warm and comfortable but size up a little. However, the one disappointment is that one of the uppermost lacing materials holding the triangle shredded, thus not being able to lace up to the top. I did sew on a makeshift lace grommet because I love these boots. (Reason for 4 stars)
