The Brooks® Addiction Walker 2 shoes have a freshly updated leather upper with a roomier fit that still provides maximum support for your low arches and control for your overpronation. This modern walking shoe is ideal for both long and casual walks and will keep you feeling great whenever and wherever your day takes you!
Supple leather upper.
Traditional lace-up style for a preferred fit.
Breathable mesh lining for a more comfortable interior fit.
Removable insole is lightweight and provides excellent underfoot cushioning and support for all-day comfort.
Features a flat-to-medium arch in the insole area for added support.
BioMoGo DNA midsole cushioning provides ideal underfoot softness and support while still providing excellent responsiveness and durability.
Extended Progressive Diagonal Rollbar (PDRB®) presents a robust, dual density post at the medial arch allowing for progressive pronation control.

Prior to wearing these sneakers I would get pain in my left hip whenever I walked long distances. (I wear an orthodic on my right side, which throws off my left side.) Since wearing these Brooks sneakers I am able to walk without that annoying pain. I love that I have been able to buy two different size shoes, singularly, from Zappos without the need to purchase two pairs in order to make a matched pair.

The fit and size are perfect and fit like a glove. My foot slid in as if it had been oiled and felt better than any shoe I've worn before. It gives great support and aids with balance. Very well made of sturdy leather upper and deep treated sole.

So far, so good. I was pleasantly surprised that these Brooks black leather Addiction Walker single size shoes fit me so well. I ordered 10.5 Medium and they fit true to size and width. The height is a little higher than I am accustomed but I am adjusting. Feels like I am cloud walking. Now I understand why they are called Addiction Walkers.

I have my arch support from my custom orthotics. I'm able to remove the brooks insole and slip mine right in. I had to purchase Extra Wide so that I would have room for the orthotics as they must lay flat and not crawl up the side of the shoe or they won't work properly. Thank God for the Brooks Addiction Walker2, they were recommended by my foot doctor. They provide excellent stability and don't know what I would have done without them as I was starting to have balance issues, but not with these sneakers. I pray that Brooks will continue to manufacture this shoe for decades to come.
