I wear a 9.5 or 10 in shoes, depending on the brand. I recommend that if you are between sizes, you size down -- the 10s were too large. In addition, I ordered wides and mediums to see which would fit better - I can wear either, again depending on the brand and the cut of the shoe. If this is you, I'd recommend to go with the medium -- I found that the mediums fit just fine (in size 9.5) and the wides were too large. I bought both these and the Villa boots. While they are very similar and both cute, I found these Vallis to be more comfortable. The lower shaft of the Villas meant they were less comfortable in the ankle. They were rubbed awkwardly or cut into my ankle (like when I walked up stairs) at times, and unlike the Valli 2.0 there was no padding around the top. I'm sending the Villas back and keeping the Vallis.

I like the style of these boots. The shaft is a bit higher and narrower than the Villa, which I also tried. I am returning them because something about them -- maybe the toe, slightly more upturned, and burnished (on the leather ones), made them look a little too cowboy-boot-ish for my taste.

These are the BEST teacher shoes EVER. I wear them daily and have multiple colors. The support is great, they are "waterproof" for outside duty/car lines etc, the sole is thick and supportive, my feet have never hurt in these! WORTH EVERY PENNY.

The fit is perfect, I'm a size 8.5, this fit perfect. However, these are VERY uncomfortable. The front of the boots rubbed into my skin and by the time I came home I was unable to walk in these boots. It left a red painful mark on my lower leg. What a waste of money. These boots did not work for me. Unfortuantely, I've already used it so can no longer return it.
