These backpacks are our go to for all of our kids. The prints are fun for kids but also stylish. They are durable and hold up so they can be used for years without needed to be replaced and wipe clean pretty easily.

Durable. Got the Youth XL for my eight-year-old and it's a great size.

I purchased this for my 9 year old son and the size of the bag is fine. I wouldn't go any bigger than this for him and I think it would last through middle school. But, we did not care for the big zippers. They do not work smoothly and we found them irritating so I returned it. The material of the bag is thick and kind of stiff. Maybe it will be a durable bag but the zippers were a big no no for us.

The bag itself is beautiful and has all the pockets and utilities you'd want in a diaper bag. I also liked the side clips that you can use to hook the bag to the stroller but sadly I decided to return because it was just too big for me. It's almost the size of a duffle bag, and although some people might appreciate the extra space, maybe those who have more than one kid, it was just too much for me. It also helps to make the bag a little heavier than what I would have liked. I think this is a common feeling I've seen in other comments so I hope Herschel listens and make a smaller version of this bag, then you can have all my money.

Love, love, love Herschel backpack and the design. However, it is a bit big for our Pre-K girl. She is about 40” tall, backpack goes well under her bottom. I suggest Heritage Youth (Big Kids) for that age group.

Perfect fit for my kindergarten child he is small and this still perfect fit for a hard back folder to fit in but not a bulky backpack

Just a little smaller than the adult Herschel backpacks. Perfect for kids with the plastic zipper, super easy to open and close
