Since their humble beginnings in Berkeley in 1998, The Cat’s Pajamas® has offered stylish, fun, consciously crafted, deliciously indulgent sleepwear. Now from their current operations in sunny Venice, they maintain their heritage but offer new patterns, stylish cuts and beautiful fabrics like Voiles, which are silky soft, high thread count cottons.
Almost everything The Cat’s Pajamas offers is made in California. They know the designers, the textile artists, and the people who sew every seam. They’re a part of a creative community that’s making well-designed, well-made things that people feel good about using. The soft knit pajamas are imported from Peru because they determined that was where they could get the most beautiful Pima cotton/modal blends available. To keep up with the overwhelming demand, they also periodically import certain goods, but those are less than 1% of what they sell.
So does loungewear have to be frumpy or super serious? No way! When you shed those outside clothes The Cat’s Pajamas knows you want to slip into soft, comforting clothes that lift you up, even if you’re just lying around.
