ROAN by Bed Stu

The color is gorgeous. They pair great with dress slacks or jeans. Only negative thing I could say is that the leather is tight and they need to be broken in a little before wearing them out for a few hours. I wore them with trouser socks and it was fine but it took me a few times wearing them around the house for a few minutes each time to loosen up the leather. They are beautiful boots!

These were beautiful, but I have a slightly wide calf so they pinched me at the top. Otherwise, the fit felt true to size and I was sad to have to return them.

I actually couldn’t get the boot on so I don’t know much about the comfort or arch support. It’s beautiful but not the dressy style I was looking for. It’s more rustic but very nice.

Beautiful shoe. I usually fit a 9.5 to 10. I ordered a 10 and it felt a full size too small. I would need an 11, and I have never worn an 11 in my life.

Perfect boot. I wear 8.5 usually, but the 9 worked for me with smartwool socks. The 2" heel is comfortable even for errands and walking the dog. Great zipper. The "gray" leans brown in person, which is what I was hoping for. Excellent boots. Highly recommend.

These are SO CUTE!!!! This is my second pair of Roan and I’m sold!!! The BedStu brand hurts!!!! Cute cute cute, but ouch!!!! And this sister brand of theirs, come to mama!!! Already broken in right out of the box!!! Love ‘em!

Size 1/2 side up is wearing with medium to thick cotton or wool socks extremely comfortable lots of compliments

Bed Stu definitely makes quality products. This shoe is absolutely beautiful and a great value. HOWEVER, it runs VERY small. I normally take a size 9 to 9.5 in shoes, I ordered a 10 in these (because other Roan Bed Stu's I tried ran small) and they fit like an 8 or 8.5. Now I am going to try a size 11 because I really like the way they look and the quality. Praying the 11 fits! Goodness! I have NEVER had to size up to an 11. Or even a 10. Love the shoe and the brand but the sizing is way off.

I ordered these in a 7 1/2, my true size and they were to big. I ordered a size down and it is a perfect fit even with heavier sock. The quality is excellent and the material soft. Great tread. Only thing lacking was great arch support for a high arch. I will need to add that. If you like a boot with your room this boot fits the bill!

Love these boots! I purchased the grey suede but would say they're more of a dark brown color. The suede is beautiful with a worn/vintage look. Great heel height with a substantial treaded sole; excellent Fall/Winter boot! Super comfy footbed and fits true to size for me. I ordered a size up as I plan to wear with thick socks. Love the side zip access making them easy to put on and take off. Purchased Bed Stu boots before and these are consistent with the brand; high quality, extremely well-made, and unique. Good purchase!

I love the way my Roan boots look and feel. I certainly recommend them. My normal size fit and the dark brown color is beautiful..

loved the boot. a little tight but I think they would have stretched some. I had to choose between several selected and decided to return these.

The sandals are wonderful. Beautiful color and seem to be well made.

I am now "old" and must wear inserts in all my shoes. I ordered a half a size bigger than my size to allow room for the inserts. They fit perfectly and my foot is not cramped in the boot. Like all boots, they need time to be worn to be completely comfortable. I like the boots' worn look; they feel of good quality. Boots that I will have for a long time.

Great boot, very nice looking, nice leather. It is very dark, more black than brown but could easily be worn with black or brown.

Holy cow these boots are so cute and comfortable ! Immediately you put them on they're perfect in every way. I'm a true 7 and the 7 fit great even with thick socks for the winter. Love them

Nice but run large! I loved these boots but have to return them because they are waayyy too large. I’m a 9.5 in open shoes but always have to get a 10 or 10.5 in closed-in shoes. I ordered a 10 in these and they were too big. Even with thick socks they were too large. I’d like to exchange for a 9.5 but they are out of stock. The boots are a great color…a smoky taupe shade. And they are quality as well. Wish they would’ve worked for me.

It is comfortable, but the sole is made of man made materials which I do not like for the summer use. The website said the inner sole is made of leather. I wonder why Roan is much cheaper than the ones at Bed Stu site, I know why. It is a less cheaper version.

Nice solid boots. Good thick leather as well except they were not as dark or as shiny as the photo. And they were not consistent looking between right and left boot. One being considerably lighter and streaked.

After reading the reviews, I ordered a half size larger than I normally take and they fit perfectly. They are cute and seem to be well made, but have no support at all. Some people complained about not being able to keep the sandals on their feet, but I didn't have that problem.

Nice width in toe box, slightly snug across instep. Leather feels soft and I anticipate it to stretch to fit.

I have a narrow foot and usually wear a size 9( i usually wear HeyDudes a lot, and I'm a 9). I ordered a 9.5 just to be on the safe side, and these were still too small. I was so disappointed because they were so cute, but when I tried to exchange for a size 10, they were sold out.
