L'Amour Des Pieds

I have a pair of L'amour des pieds booties from a year ago that feel like they were made for my feet, so I thought I'd try these adjustable "loafer" pull on shoes. They don't fit and feel lumpy in all the wrong places on the inside -- the footbed must be a different last or something. Too bad. If they'd fit I'd wear them all the time. Attractive, distinctive, nice sole. Just not comfortable with or without sox.

This is just the shoe that I wanted. Nice looking without a high heel.

The toe of the shoe was way too narrow for my foot. The ankle fastening felt strange and ungainly.

The size was right but the heel slippage was too much.... maybe because of the stiffer sole? I'm not sure. But I'm very disappointed. It is a beautiful well made boot.

This is a great looking shoe and the blue color is an eye-catcher. But they were too large for me.

Am I ever glad to have bought these boots! They are a miracle of comfort, the rare pair that makes you smile with relief as you slide into them. I only buy shoes with good arch support and a slight wedge and these, my last purchase, are by far the most comfortable! The calf leather will need some TLC, keep in mind that these are not adequate for soccer nor skateboarding.

Way too narrow for my wide forefoot. Cut right across the big and little toe bones. Very uncomfortable!

My usual size fit properly in this style. I really like this brand--this is my fourth pair and each has been immediately comfortable and held up well. They are better looking than most really comfortable shoes, and that's worth the price. Great shoes for travel, you can walk for miles and possibly not be identifiable as a tourist from 100 yards away. Not that there's anything wrong with being a tourist.

This is a beautiful shoe and the width and size were fine; but the heel was too big/loose, which was odd because the shoes fit otherwise. But since I won't be able to wear them comfortably, I'm requesting a return and refund.

This brand can sometimes run a half a size large in a sandal. I am a 7.5 and purchased the 7.0 the length was fine however the heel strap was too long for my narrow heel. Comfortable shoe if it works for you

This shoe will accommodate a narrow to medium foot. if you have a narrow heel, there could be a little slippage. I loved everything about the shoe, except for the heel placement. I hated how it felt when I walked, all the pressure was in the middle of my heel. Every time I took anall the pressure was in the middle of my heel. Every time I took a step. if the heal had been constructed in the more usual way, I would’ve purchased in every color.

This shoe is beautiful. The heel height is perfect for me I’m 60+. I will return simply because the taupe is more grey than peachy which is what I was looking for.

These shoes have a lot of potential. They look a bit more elegant than expected when standing in them. Unfortunately, with my narrow feet, I would have needed an extra pad in the front in order to make sure my foot stayed in the right place to benefit from the arch. I also thought they looked unattractive on me when sitting. My arch looked abnormally high in the shoe and they looked too clunky. If you have a more average sized foot, this could be a great option for you. Easier to walk in than most 2+ inch wedges. I decided to return the shoes, but they will be great for many others.

The left shoe was narrower. I have another color and it fits perfectly.

Sandals are adorable and very comfortable. Love the height. I was able to wear them for many hours walking around without an issue.

A very comfortable shoe. I like the All-leather aspect, the relatively and soft foot bed and the slim style. It is a big shoe as it is a wedge and has a high sole all over. I haven't worn it yet but I am looking forward to doing so.

When they arrived I realized the color is a bit lighter than I thought - though not far from the photo. Guess I was prone to wishful thinking they were more brown. So I didn't try them on. But... what a beautiful well made shoe. It's bound to please..

Love the shoes...but, I no longer can wear a heel or wedge because of my ankle. Thought I would give it a try and had to return the shoe due to my body. I have many L'Amour shoes that are platform or no heel and love the fit and quality. Just got another style of L'Amour, platform in brown .
