Think!

Think! Logo
"Walking different" means not thinking of walking as a mechanical means of movement from one point to another, but instead walking as an opportunity to go your own way.

That is why Think!® thought about what makes shoes comfortable. Think! rethought their material selection and production processes and thought ahead when it comes to design and the personalities of shoe-wearing customers.

Think! uses organically-tanned leather composed of tanning agents from ground tree bark extracts, bark from plantation trees and waste product from the timber industry. No trees from primeval or tropical rain forests are felled for our tanning agents. The bark for Think! tanning agents comes from timber tree plantations. This means: no tree in the open country dies solely in the interest of organic tanning. On the contrary: the bark, which would otherwise be nothing more than waste from timber processing is put to good use. Think's all-natural, organically tanned leather is breathable, skin friendly, moisture absorbing, full bodied in structure, and free from harmful chemicals and toxins.

Aluminum, chrome, mercury and the like are not added to organically tanned leather to make it easy care; Think! is highly apprehensive about such methods. This is why they leave their leather as natural as it is. None of the vegetable dyes contain heavy metals. And it goes without saying that Think! does not use synthetic inorganic chemical compounds or cheap carcinogenic coloring agents such as azo dyes. Organically tanned leather has no chemical additives. The animal skin is made durable by means of natural substances. This allows the leather to breathe and to absorb moisture naturally. It feels good and robust without additives such as chrome, pesticides, formaldehyde, and the like.

To be sure nothing slips through the cracks, Think! has leather randomly tested by the laboratories of independent research institutes. After all, better to be safe than sorry. This fact is intangible to most but important to us. Thanks to short transportation distances, their raw leather does not have to be treated with chemicals to preserve it. Special salts and a proper cooling chain suffice. Few tanneries can produce organically tanned leather. Availability is very limited. The Think! philosophy rules out 95% of tanneries! A fact that has an effect on pricing. Organically-tanned leather is simply better but more cost intensive, slower and more complex to produce. In this day and age, vegetable tanned leather is an extravagance mastered by very few European tanneries.

The result: a non-polluting product completely free of chemicals, exclusively produced in quality European tanneries with high environmental standards. Hypoallergenic, thus no harmful substances come into contact with your skin.

Think!'s anatomically designed cork footbeds consist primarily of natural cork (which over time molds to the natural shape of your feet to create a custom fit) and natural rubber from the hevea tree. Natural latex is a sustainable raw material which provides natural cushioning, outstanding thermal insulation and high slip and wear resistance. When nothing else is possible and where Think! must use microcell rubber, crepe or polyurethane because of weight restrictions or technical requirements, it is always free of ozone depleting fluoro chloro carbons.

A number of people are allergic to nickel. Think! has thought of this as well. Think! only uses nickel free accessories and ornaments created in house by our own designers.

Rest assured the quality of the Think! shoes you wear is healthy.

These are very nice shoes -- well made and cute. But they have no arch support. And I felt that the laces might dig into my foot when I wore them without socks. Had to return.

The first pair , a nine , was too big. The eight fits better. I’m not sure how comfortable they are. The jury is out on that.

Purchased these to replace my Think mules of nearly 9 years. The soles ofmy new red ones are a good bit lighter than my other pair but still sturdy. I love the broad toebox. Stylish and confortable. Can't wait til summer when I can wear them without socks.

These shoes are dreamy! I have a slightly wider foot and high instep and these fit and look great. I got the red which is pretty but am reconsidering getting black (boring!) instead.

I loved the shoes and would have gladly paid the price asked BUT I have a very narrow heel and these slipped as I walked. That was not going to work for me. In future I will need to find either clogs, slides or sling backs. They are truly a beautifully made shoe and super quality so I am returning them, sadly.

The 'Karena' Think- boot is amazing quality! Worth the money. I am keeping this boot although it is a half size too big size 41. I need a 40.5 (9.5) It fits very true to size. Which is unusual to find today. Please order more from this company in half sizes. And other colors like green, olive green, there is so many black and brown boots. And metallic colors. I would order them and I know there are others out there that would like this boot in color. Order me a green one in 9.5, and I will buy it! Thank you, Karen

IT IS HARD SENDING THESE BACK AS THEY ARE REALLY CUTE BUT THE CUT OUT IN THE LEATHER OVER THE RIGHT TOE AREA IS ROUGH AND HURTS. IT REALLY IS A SHAME BUT I THINK I HAVE TO SEND THEM BACK.

I knew I would like this shoe, having been a THINK fan for a number of years. I knew these would require some breaking in--both my feet and the shoes. Once I addressed my ingrown toenail issue and walked around in these a couple of hours, everything adjusted and I can now donate my old pair of 6 or more years. Well made shoes, broad toe box, a bit stiff at first, but they last a long time. Well worth the price!

Love this shoe!! Ordered my usual size and they fit well, except the right one was tighter across my forefoot so I reordered the same size (last pair!) hoping that the right one in that box will be better. Other than that, they’re super cute and I hope they work out.

So darn cute! And super comfortable. I have problem feet like everyone else it seems. I had that surgery a couple years ago and need a decent amount of support in order for my feet not to hurt. These are super comfortable shoes and they look seriously cute on. I’m new to Think! shoes and an instant fan. I also recommend Gabor, Munro American and Vaneli. If you have very narrow feet, I’d skip these. My feet are naturally wide. For comparison purposes I wear a 37 in these, 6.5M in Vaneli, 4UK in Gabor and 6WW in Munro.

Nice shoe and very attractive. However, the strap is down too close to the top for comfort- it should come across the instep instead. I need the support and the comfort of knowing I won't walk out of the shoe.

I LOVED the Rosso color and style of these shoes and the cut work makes them a little more feminine than my Birk’s. This is my first time to try the Think! brand and I ordered the size 11/41 and found it to be very tight on me lengthwise. I normally wear a 10.5 or 11 with orthotics (high arch) in a walking shoe so can’t buy shoes retail due to no one carrying half sized above a 10 if they carry 11s at all. My big toe and heel in this style were at the very ends of the shoe. For comparison, my Birkenstocks are a size 41, a similar Naot sandal I have is a size 40, and my Haflinger mules I bought from Zappos are a size 40 also. The width is wider than the usual shoe “medium” width but probably is considered medium for this style footwear. (I need to buy my walking shoes in a size 11 wide width due to bunions.) I did like that this has a wide toe box but it is just too tight so I am returning these and hoping that Zappos can get the 42 back in stock for me to try and it won’t be too loose due to being too wide and/or the Velcro strap then being too long to keep it on my foot.

My foot measures as a 10.5 wide due to osteoarthritis in the bunion joints. I am used to wearing orthotics in my walking shoes due to needing arch support. My Birk’s, Keen’s, Mephisto’s with more of a square/wide toe box are most comfortable and fit me best. I was looking for a true red and this style is so cute and feminine in a casual bohemian way to wear with either leggings or tights and this is the first time I’ve tried Think!s which are made in Hungary. Per the size chart, I ordered a size 41. Love the shoe and color; however I found it ran shorter than other shoes listed above I have bought that are stamped a size 40. So I will need to return them and try a 42. I could not wear socks with these even if I wanted to.

These are beautiful treasures for my feet. I have never paid this much for a shoe but i dont regret it a bit. i needed a nice black dress shoe for a wedding i am in. I also wanted it to be something that can be dressed down a touch for work. these fit the bill! PLUS, they fit my feet! I have the worst feet. Giant size 11's with bunions. Most 11s are too narrow or the toe box is too short and squishes my toes. Daily i wear comfort lines like Born and Dansko but they just weren't cutting it for dress shoes. These Think! shoes are made with quality leather that accomodated my bunions and i had them borken in within one wearing. no bandaids needed ever again! I wore them for 4 hours dancing and i survived! If that isn't enough praise then i cannot help you further.

Shoe is VERY comfortable. Wish it didn't have such a rugged rubber sole. It is easy to adjust with the velcro and the fact it is not thin strips. It is also one of the few velcro/hook and look shoes that has designed it so that ugly velcro is not hanging out to see when the shoe is worn. It is very well made. The ONLY complaint is that I normally wear an 8, and when I am wearing the shoe where the arch and heel feel great, there is more than 1/2" of space beyond my toes. I wish the footbed was not such a bright yellowish leather. If it were black it may not be noticed enough. But with my pinkish toes and then that 1/2 " of yellow leather it just looks stupid, so I am returning them for a 38 to see if those will fit.

Oh my, really nothing special, I'm sorry to say. Love that they are made in Europe, and love the quirky style, but these puppies cost quite a lot of cake and for the cost, I'm not impressed. Wish I hadn't thrown the box away, or I'd return them. They're nice, but for me they're not especially comfy or stylin'. Glad they work on some, but not for me.

After a lifetime of wearing fabulous & funky shoes, a knee injury has forced me to wear sensible shoes. This is my first pair of Think sandals and I'm delighted to find comfort shoes that are still funky. This sandal does not provide nearly as much shock absorption as Alegria or Finn Comfort, but they accommodate my impossibly high insteps perfectly. I expect to buy more of this brand, but would encourage Think to provide more cushioning & shock absorption in their designs.

Arty while comfortable is my ideal shoe & these are that. I would not go hiking in them, but I am perfectly comfortable navigating miles of airport corridors & glad for the easy off & on at security checkpoints. I have wide feet & appreciate the adjustable front & decent arch support. I wish the footbed was removable so I could use my own orthotics or superfeet.

I really liked the comfort quotient on these shoes, The are soft and supportive at the same time. However i returned for 2 reasons: 1. There was a large gap in the leather, in the area just above the toes, to the extent it made the sandal feel very floppy on my feet. It was just too tall a space for my feet. Thinking maybe it was a defective pair, I ordered another size and the same size again and the issue existed in all. This is not typically a problem I have with sandals. 2. I don't like that the insole is such a light color, I really wish manufacturers would stop already with the light colored insoles and white soles on dark shoes. In my life they get dirty and awful looking really fast.
