These are basic and just what I wanted. Doesn’t cut into my large thighs either

Ordered these shoes for my wife for use with our Peleton trainer. Based upon previous reviews I ordered these a full size larger. She normally wears a 8.5 and I purchased the size 42 for her. They fit well with socks. If you are a triathlete who will not be wearing socks possibly order your true to size. Plenty of ventilation both on top of shoe and underneath which being a road cyclist I found interesting. Overall for the money these are hard to beat

Update. I had to order from Pearl Izumi directly because 37 was out of stock on Zappos, but 37 was a perfect size 6 for me, so I shouldn't have tried to size up.

Tried to buy another brand of shoes first and learned they didn't make a size 10! Store recommended I order these is the 43 because they ran small - don't be fooled - the 43 in these shoes is equivalent to a size 11. Ordered the 42 from Zappos and they're the perfect size. I wear 9 in shoes and 10 in sneakers and these are great. The tongue is long and you have to make sure it doesn't bunch up before you close the shoes. If you've never used cycling shoes before, do it - make a huge difference in your workout.

The tongue on these is strange as it comes up over the crease of my ankle so it would rub into my leg. The plastic upper is also unforgiving. I did like that they include holes for SPD and LOOK cleats.

Everyone suggested sizing up, so I did because my regular size of 37 was out of stock anyway. Unfortunately they feel too big. I think the 37 would have been perfect. I'm new to the whole cycle shoes thing. The 37 in Shimano are a little snug, but the 38 felt too big, so I must be a 37 in Pearl Izumi and 37.5 in Shimano. Too bad there are no half sizes here. Thank goodness for Zappos free returns!

As others have mentioned, the EU to US conversion is off in the size chart. I’m usually a women’s 9.5, so I ordered the 42 as recommended by the size chart and a 41 based on previous EU-sized shoes I’ve worn. The 41’s fit perfect. I ended up returning them because I found out that my current bike shoes were compatible with the new spin bikes that my gym got. I had ordered these because they are LOOK cleat compatible, whereas my other spin shoes can only use the SPD cleats....I thought the new bikes had LOOK pedals, but I was wrong :)

The Zappos size recommendation was on point, but I believe they had already accounted for how small these run. I ordered these at size 45 EU, and I typically wear a size 10-10.5 US. The size 45 are just a hair too big, but the next smaller size in stock was a 43, so between a 45 and 43 I'm happy with the 45's. From a style standpoint these aren't setting the world on fire, but they are nice and understated rather than bold and ugly, so will wear in a wide variety of settings. I use these to do deliveries and ride around town to festivals and meet up with friends, and they have been great for those purposes. Much better than having to use flats on my around town bike. A good investment if you want the superior biking capability of an SPD pedal, but the freedom to get around off the bike too.

Loved them. Best clips shoes for the money I’ve ever had.

I was a bit concerned about the sizing so did my research about PI cycle shoes first and these fit perfectly. Adequate for my needs!

It’s always hard purchasing Euro sizes. I wear 9-9.5. I bought 42. They are pretty big. Probably more like a 10 or even 10.5. I honestly don’t think I can wear a 41 though. I’d rather have a little room and add extra insoles to make it tighter. For now, they are fine as is. Really great indoor cycling shoes! Comfy, and cute.

I read reviews saying to get a size 43 if you are usually size 8.5 (39) - because of this I ordered them much too big! I am usually 8.5/39, but in these cycling shoes, a 40 works. No need to get a huge size

Nice shoe for my Peloton. They run a little bit on the smaller side. Get one size bigger and you'll be good. A bit narrow, hopefully they stretch a little. Attention Zappos I would like to schedule a session in the nap room and relax with the fish.??

The shorts are much smaller than listed. Not true to size.

Size and fit was as expected from Pearl Izumi...great! Love the ease of the zippers and the soft neck line. With Pearl Izumi you do get what you pay for.

No complaints. Gets the job done. Came exactly as pictured. I get a lot of complements on them as well.

Love these shoes. I take an indoor spin class 5 days a week and needed to upgrade my shoes. These were recommended by my studio and they are great. Super comfortable and not too narrow like a lot of cycle shoes. So happy with my purchase and my rides have been a lot better.

I haven't actually worn these spinning yet. But I tried on at least 8 other pairs and these were by far the most comfortable. I was told cycle shoes need to be comfortable from the start and that was really the most important thing. Oddly, Zappos lists these as a 42 EU and 9.5 US, but on the box it says it's a US 10 and 42 EU. I wear a size 10 in most street shoes, and sometimes size up for athletic shoes like running shoes, hiking boots, etc. These fit just about perfectly length-wise, with just a smidge of room at the end of the shoe for my big toe. But my toes had lots of space to wiggle around and with the straps tightened, my feet will hopefully stay in place and won't slide forward at all. I also tried all the shoes on at the end of the day when my feet were their largest. I should probably take a ride or two in these before I make certain that they're for me, but based on the others I tried, I liked these the most.

It does feel true to size but very snug. I bought a 38 and I’m a US7. A little tight but that’s not a bad thing for cycling shoes. Plus they look SO PRETTY AND STYLISH ??
