Man, I recieved these boots and as soon as I took them out of the box I knew that they were quality made shoes! The leather is awesome as the soles are too! Couldn't wait to try them on, and man oh man, they are everything my friends have said they are (one of the reasons I bought them)! I wore them all day and this being the second day even better! At this point I think I will highly recommend this brand of boots and especially this model! BTW, the steel toes fit just like they said!

I usually go half size larger with Keen, did for my safety shoes and it works with these as well. Love KEEN everything...arch support is good...no complaints, as always. Love Keen products.

good shoe but don't expect it to last long, this is my second pair that i bough and it might be my last, both pairs broke in different places right after the 1 year warranty, the first pair was trashed in the eyelets holding the shoe lace through the shoe I had to get them repaired right at the 13th month at the work boot or the store where i bought them from originally from the original purchase then and now the 2nd pair the sole broke or tore apart on my right foot, contacted Keen and left a review on twitter about Keen shoes and they contacted me right away and asked me to submit a warranty claim and see if they will honor the repair, so i just did. Anyways we'll see if they want to replace the sole which I dont expect because it is in my 13th month or 1month past warranty just like the last pair. We'll see I guess, I should've stuck with Red Wings but we'll see,

Only had them for a week, so far so good. Pair I received fit well thus far. Also more comfortable during the break in right away. Going to see how long these survive in an aviation environment; skydrol, turbine oil, up and down mtc stands, crawling around in a cargo pit.

Bought these for my dad to wear to work and he is content. He now doesn’t have to wear sneakers which get ruined after many wears and doesn’t offer appropriate gripping when walking through snow or other hazards. These boots offer the appropriate support and doesn’t have the steel toe feature, which is what he has been in search for because they are bothersome in the toe box for him. Great design as well. Thank you Keen and Zappos.

Fit was true to my size, ordered wide width for the extra toe room. Little stiff out of the box but loosened up after a day. Not as heavy as other Keen styles and has good laces that stay tied.

They were comfortable right out of the box. However, they lasted 10 months and were not even worn everyday. The tread wore out, and the sole split before the laces wore out. I am not sure if 10 months is a normal lifespan for Keens.

I ordered these because I needed a new pair of work shoes. In 2015 I bought the Keen Destin and I love them. I'm still wearing them but I have started to wear a hole on the bottom of the shoe. These looked like they were a similar shoe. They look similar but the Redding is quite stiff out of the box. The Destin was like Heaven the first time I put them on. I thought I could possibly break them in but after wearing them around the house for an hour, for some reason my right heel was being rubbed and I got a blister. I wear typical thickness athletic socks as well. Anyway, I returned these. Thinking about writing Keen and begging them to bring back the Destin.

This is quality as expected by Keen. After owning a few pairs, I can now say confidently that they tend to run a little larger than average. The quality of this pair is pristine, the waterproofing is true (I walked through a blizzard this week in them). The sole has solid grip, and for what it is, the shoe doesn’t feel too heavy. These feature upper lacing hoops that give you the choice of either hooking around or threading them through a hole for extra security. Overall solid pair of Keens.

As most Keen shoes for me there is no break in at all. I like the looks of the shoe also. Works with pants and shorts. Not heavy even with the aluminum metal toe. They appear very well made as any Keens I've ever owned. I usually wear an 11 but in all Keens I wear a 12.

I wear these 40-60 hours , 5-6 days a week, 9 months a year. I use them for landscaping/construction. I am on my third pair. That said, I get about one season out of a pair. The boot holds up to almost anything but nothing lasts forever. Near the end of the season I could probably use new inserts (which I believe Zappos or Keen sells) but I opt for new boots. I really beat the heck out of them and I feel I get my monies worth. Out of the box they feel great, a little stiff but that goes away after a day or two. I wear a size 10.5 and that’s what ordered. Felt true to size. Some days I put ten miles on these and they don’t hurt my feet. They might be a little sore, but these aren’t walking shoes and ten miles is ten miles. The eyelets are metal which is crucial in my line of work and the top ones are hooks. I like that it’s only one hook and not the double that you see a lot on work boots. For me, it makes the lacing up less cumbersome. The toe box is wider than a normal shoe and gives the room I need. The toe on the outside has the extra protection with the wrap around sole which is great. The steel toe holds up to a lot but not indestructible. By the end of the season I can feel the toe box getting a little smaller. You definitely can’t abuse them, but it holds up everyday landscaping and landscape construction. While these might be a yearly purchase for me, these boots are totally worth the money. I’ve tried others (Keens included) and nothing compares to the comfort and durability.

These are very comfortable boots. After a week in snow and slush, the waterproofing has held up without any issues. They are not insulated, which for me is a good thing, I find that insulated waterproof boots make for sweaty and uncomfortable feet in all but the coldest conditions. I am somewhat concerned about how the toes will wear, within the first few hours of wear somewhat heavy scuffing had already become visible. Overall, they are excellent and comfortable work boots that are moderately stylish.

Nothing wrong with the boot. I just did not like how they felt and how they bent. I wear a 9 and ordered a 9. They felt a bit sloppy. They were supposed to be a 400g insulation. I am thinking not. I would say 200 at best. Biggest reason for the return was lack of insulation, and clunky fit.

These are the most comfortable shoes I've placed on my feet in a while. I work on my feet, hard floors, long hours. Just from trying them on out of the box, I can feel support of my arches and the rest of my busted feet. The leather is soft but firm support. They are also super cute for work shoes! New favorite brand!!

From about the ball of the foot forward, the shoe feels a bit too restrictive and tight. Part of this is the shoes natural inclination to lace tighter. I find that if I loosen the bottom laces and re-tighten the top the shoes feel less confined around the toes. It's a heavier shoe but I quickly adjusted. It feels like it is built to at least endure a rough season.

I typically wear a 9 1/2 shoe in most styles and brands. I've had Keen Newports prior and expected these to be similar in terms of sizing and support. These (Kanteens) are much roomier, at least a half size in length and there was plenty of width. My foot was held in place by the uppers around the ankle and floated around the heel and toe. These style shoes (and boots in general) don't typically offer the same kind of support as an athletic shoe and this is no different. It's a bit surprising, since these are marketed for people in the service industry or who spend a lot of time on their feet. I thought there would be a more cushioned EVA insole or any arch support. There isn't. On the plus side, there's plenty of room in here to accommodate your choice of insoles. I did not keep these due to the fit, so I can't speak to durability. Build quality seemed free of defects.
