Since 2010, Fortress of Inca® has partnered with some of the best shoemakers in the world to craft shoes using natural materials and responsible production practices. Each pair is handmade in Peru in family-owned and operated factories and workshops. There is a strong focus on ensuring fair wages, gender equity, and good working conditions for all of their shoemakers. Peru has a rich history of creating quality, handcrafted goods, and Fortress of Inca shoes are no exception to this. They strive to create booties, mules, and sandals that are refined and versatile.
