It's a lovely shoe/sandal. Would be just fine if it weren't for my hammertoe shooting out over one of the openings. Not the shoe's fault. Be nice on a normal foot.

TREMENDOUS arch support...and I'm a big girl. Love this shoe, overall. My only complaint is that the inside sole has some slip to it... which makes it very easy to put on, but my feet easily slide forward and back when walking - most noticeable on inclines. The mesh outer makes it very cool no matter the weather and the soles don't collapse over time.

The shoe was kind of old fashioned looking but comfortable. It ran large and it felt clumsy on my foot. I am returning it.

The shoe is beautiful. However, the fit was not as expected. The length felt a full size smaller and it was also a little narrow. Too bad. It has a great arch and the style is great.

This sandal runs longer and narrower than anticipated and does not provide support nor cushioning. The soles look, feel, and smell like recycled tires! Returning this one. Thanks Zappos for your great service!

I have a hard to fit very wide forefoot, narrow heel, and basically square shaped foot. I have had a couple of foot surgeries, have MS with painful neuropathy and need alot of cushioning. This sandal has very little. The soles look, feel, and smell like hard recycled tires! The insole is very cheaply made. The white part is unsightly, looks like construction paper, and is cut unevenly. My orthodotic does not fit into this shoe. The strap rubs on my ankle. The only good thing about this shoe is the wide width. Wish it would have worked for me but I am returning. Thank you Zappos for your awesome service!

Beautiful shoe with really high quality leather, design, craftsmanship. But even their 6EE wasn't as wide and comfortable as a Dunham shoe, so I sent them back. Sure wish they were just a bit wider.

Having a hugely wide foot, my shoe options are small to say the least, but I find the most options on Zappos. The shoes look good and are fairly comfortable. The only issue I have is the back of the shoe, the top rubs against the top of my ankle. Hopefully this will improve as the shoes get broken in.

I have very bulky custom orthotics and not many brands on the market can accommodate them. The footbed is very deep and it comes with two removable insoles that allow you to adjust the depth of the footbed depending on your need. Super comfy, not nearly as “orthopedic” looking as other brands, and are definitely worth the money. I plan on buying more shoes from this brand in the future.

They have noticeable rocker bottom that was very comfortable compared to other brands like New Balance that left me walking "clown-footed" because of the stiff platform on those. I wear orthotics and a foot drop splint and even though it's claimed these shoes have extra depth, I found it was nowhere near enough for all my hardware. I'll try again for a size larger and a couple of sizes wider before looking for another shoe.

I might try a dressier version. They are pretty comfy, but do cause a bit of a forward slide with my orthotic due to having a teeny bit of a heel. I'm grateful for a shoe company making reasonably attractive shoes for those of us with foot problems.

It’s super easy to use custom orthotics in these shoes. Very deep footbed and two separate insoles that you can remove depending on how bulky your orthotics are. Feels a little “sloppy” on the heel but can be easily fixed with a silicone heel pad.

I really liked these boots and wanted them to work. The style is cute and didn't look too bad in my large size. They were very comfortable to stand in, and would have been great for walking except they slid off my heels. I tried a variety of socks and put in an extra insole, but could not get them to stay put. Sadly, my search for the perfect boot continues.

These shoes are much bulkier and heavier than they look online. Felt like I was trying to walk in Herman Munster's giant shoes. Way to uncomfortable.

This afternoon, while the shoes were still awaiting pickup for return to Zappos, the company website presented me with a question: were the shoes too small or too large? I clicked on "too small"; however that was a misleading answer. Because, I will never know whether the shoe itself was too small or too large or just right, because the part of the shoe that was too small was the aperture at the top of the shoe through which it was necessary to insert my foot into the shoe. The fact of the matter is that said aperture was so constricted that it was absolutely impossible for me to get my foot into the shoe.

Wow, these are great! Comfortable right out of the box. They offer infinite options of sizing with the velcro heel strap and bungee cords on top. Looking forward to walking all over the place with these with or without socks. Wish they weren't quite so expensive. I'll have to look at what other shoes "Elements" offer. Thank you - and as always, Zappos gets them here within 24 hours - incredible for backwoods Montana!

The toe box was nice and roomy. My orthotics' fit well in the shoe but the back slipped. I tried to tighten the strap but they continued to slide. :(

I almost loved these. The look is simple and classy. My feet are a size 14 and 4E-5E width, most shoes labeled to these widths feel too narrow (or I have to settle for a "EW" which is usually 3E) but not these. They almost felt a little loose up front with thin sock but just fine with good thick socks. What led me to RMA was that the tongue is made out of a very stiff doubled-over double layer of leather and presses uncomfortably on the front of my ankles. If the tongue were a quarter-to-half inch shorter or maybe if the liner material were something other than another layer of leather, I would have happily kept the shoes.

These are cute and given that it’s hard to find covered toe sandals, I was hopeful. But at least on my khaki ones, the toe box was rock hard. You could knock on it. No give whatsoever so no room for toes or anything else to stretch out. Weirdest shoe ever.

I searched for a long time to find a shoe with a removable inner sole that could be removed for orthodics. I used other customer reviews to choose this shoe. It's perfect. I was able to wear the shoes all day with my wide orthodics. I will pass the name of this shoe on to my podiatrist for other patients who have this problem. Color me Happy!

I have 2 pair of Drew shoes. Love them because they fit and support like a dream and still look stylish. But these do not measure up to that standard. I wear a 7.5 M and these were too long and too wide. Don't think I'll try a smaller size ans I did not like the style either. The black and gray fabric looked doudy. These are being returned.

It’s next to impossible to find slides for men in an extra wide width. These are exceptionally wide. They have thick, sturdy soles with good traction. The soles aren’t very flexible, but they are lightweight. The pebbly textured leather has not yet shown any scuff marks. There is enough room to insert an additional arch pad. They aren’t hurting the bunions. They look good with jeans or dockers.
