After wearing them for less than a month, the sole began to rip in a few places.

Other Sauconys my son has worn have held up well, but these, not so much. After only about 6 weeks of use the contrasting color rubber sole is coming off both shoes. They fit well, and my son says they are comfortable, but come on, shoes should last longer than this.

We have tried multiple pairs of other brands of size 1.5. Size 2 was too big so we needed 1.5. This is the only shoe that fits true to size! Love these so much and they look great!

Great shoe and super stylish but even with the wide, we had to return my sons normal size and instead buy an entire size larger to fit him. These definitely run small.

My grandson loves them. We did have to return for a 1/2 size larger.

I have been buying this shoe for 3 yrs for grandson & granddaughter. They love colors & comfort. Shoes last until their foot outgrows the shoe. I laughed when I saw review I wrote about this shoe in Sept, 2017. I evne have nxt size up ready & waiting for when children need them. Very pleased with this line.

I first purchased size 1.5W as my grandson is wearing size 1W now. When the 1.5W arrived, we couldn't get his foot into the sneaker. I ordered 2 other pairs sizes 1.5XW and 2W. The size 1.5XW fit him nicely. I don't know if a new shipment has changed the sizing where he now needs the XW because the W fit him before. I noticed that many were complaining of the sneakers running small. Another complaint regards the sole of the sneaker coming loose. My grandson just started to wear the new sneaker so we will watch to see what happens with the sole. Just a side note...my grandson loves the colors of the sneaker and continues to request this particular sneaker. Not really into character sneakers but chooses sneakers on comfort!!!

My son has extremely wide feet and these shoes were the first ones h has ever had that didn’t hurt his arches. He is almost 7 years old and loves to run continuously. Even if these shoes only last for the summer, totally worth it.

Awesome shoe. I love this brand! I purchased this shoe in September for my son, the show is holding up still (May now, im shocked). He normally goes through a pair of shoes every 3 months! Defiantly got our monies worth. I just ordered him almost the same shoe in the next size.

these are comfortable and true to size. No complaints form my 9yo son. Would recommend

Great shoes (very few brands make XW) but they run SMALL. My 5 year old is on the cusp of a size 2 in most other brands but is wearing a 3 in Saucony.

After reading through the reviews for this product, I purchased these shoes for my 6 yr old son who normally wears a size 5. He has wide feet with an high arch. These shoes run a full size smaller, so i brought a size 6 xw. They are perfect...true to width and provide the arch support needed. Good buy....no regrets.

Good shoe for the price

Surprised at the negative reviews on this shoe. My son actually requests to wear these! We’ve had no issues at all with them. His foot glides into the shoe easily and it seems cushioned.

My son has exceptionally wide feet. I have a really tough time finding shoes that will even go on his feet, let alone find them comfortable. I have tried many brands that have W or XW sizes, but most are not wide enough. These Saucony in the XW are great. They fit him well and provide good support. I will definitely be buying these again when he outgrows this pair.

My children liked these shoes so much that after one got a pair, the other wanted the same ones!

Our 4.5yo son immediately fell in love with these but glad I bought a whole size up plus XW or they would be too tight. We tried ties shoes before but he was happy to go back to the velcro for a bit longer! Leaving it as true to size but definitely need to order size up.

I am the shoe fairy for my grands. The Kotaro style has been great for active youngsters. I purchased the Kotaro 3 & now the Kotaro 4 for grandson & granddaughter. Velcro holds up well. Good cushioning. Children outgrow shoes & still shoes are in good condition.

My son loves these. We got them in the extra wide width, just because he has sensory issues and didn't want the shoe to be tight around his foot. His foot is not super wide, but these seem to fit him ok.

These are a perfect school or play shoe! They go with many outfits & colors (which is important when your child wants their shoes to match everything). It's also a more big boy look to a hook & loop closure for those kiddos who can't, or are too busy, to tie their shoes ??

My son loves these! He's excited to wear them to school!! I figured he'd want lace shoes this year, going into 2nd grade, but he loved this style! Plus the black/ gray are easy to combine with most of his wardrobe!

Got the black/grey for my son. He wanted dark shoes. The grey is a lot lighter than it appears in the image. Keeping them, but wish I would've known.
