Unfortunate fabric, pretty dress. I love the style/design of this dress but the fabric is an open weave gauze with a lot of body (kind of stiff and scratchy)--so not only would it snag very easily, it also adds a puffy look around the pleated areas. Also, the lining is a really yucky cheap-feeling polyester. Not what I expected from a dress at this price point. Returning.

I tried this on at my local Dillard's and it is stunning! I am typically a size 4 and this fit true to size. I could have gone a size up too, with the pleats and sash no one would have been able to tell. It has beautiful movement and is so airy for a black maxi dress. It's as comfortable as you could ask for a formal dress.
